Our Story
Our team: Jeff & David Mitchell.
Our Sh*tbox: 2003 VY Holden Commodore Wagon (Cost $700)
We are doing the Sh*tboxrally to honour our dad who died way too young, aged just 62. We were teenagers when he got cancer back in the seventies and must pay tribute to our mum Betty who nursed and cared for him through the tough times.
As we both approach our 60’s, it becomes clearer just how much of life there is to be lived and how devastating cancer is to families and communities across the country. We’ve had so many relatives and friends touched by cancer and we both have people close to us that are living with cancer.
So, it’s a great opportunity to help raise funds that will help to sustain the research effort that is making a difference and saving lives. James Freeman and his Sh*tbox Rally team are awesome. It will be a great challenge to do the rally, but raising the money is even harder.
