Throwback to this day post first comp.. like soo long ago. Thinking back how good and accomplished I felt to have done something where I literally emersed myself and solely focused on me and a specific goal.
This was around 23hrs for work per week in the gym alone , plus meal prep, plus recovery and more over a period of 3.5 months.
With most people that are not used to move I say just start moving, make small changes, aim to be active at least 3 hrs per week and make consecutive, deliberate changes even if it is the smallest of tasks.
Build the habit, make things a routine, become a minimalist with the changes you want to make, in other words don't bite off more than you can chew on the first go. As long as you make steady progress and if you f..k it up, doesn't matter as long as you don't let that stop you from doing it again and giving it another go.

Mantra for the week! We are halfway through the year.
Where are you at on your journey? Are ticking all the boxes you set out at the start of the year?
Are you fitter, healthier, more active?
Did you lose the weight you wanted or are you well on your way to achieving it?
If you are great work keep it up and don't stop stop now, you have come a long way don't res on that until you get there all the way!
If you are starting again for the second or third time this year, still great work you have not given up, rather the opposite you'r showing great grit and determination.
If you got there, but you fell off no problem, get back on it and start again.
Make this your year and manifest the changes you wanted to create this year. It can be hard for sure, but find the smallest even what looks like the most insignificant change and do it well, build confidence with the small stuff first!
Meal prep done, simple, easy and delicious. Your healthy meals don't have to be boring. Flavour as you like. Only rule, pick good quality products.
Sometimes all you have to change is 5% and it can propel you in to whole new direction. Don't over think it just take the first step doesn't matter how small or insignificant it appears to be π«Ά
