After school snack. Homemade baked cinnamon doughnuts
Baking day today with it being Connor’s first day back home schooling. To say I needed a stress relief would be the understatement of the year. So red velvet cupcakes and cinnamon scrolls where required
Lunch today was the brunch bread which was devoured by all. For dinner we had a family fav. A roast chicken and veg cooked in the varoma while a pumpkin soup cooked in the bottom. Very happy tummies tonight
My birthday dinner tonight Asian tacos otherwise known as San Choy Bau. One of my fav meals. Fresh, yummy and packed full of flavour
Tonight I just wanted something I could prepare and walk away but still have it being super tasty. So I made the meatloaf from three simply delicious cookbook. And drum roll please .......... it’s a winner ps I normally hate meatloafs but I devoured this tonight
So using the staples I made the other day ...... what was on the menu butter chicken with garlic naan and basmati rice
Today was the day to stock up on the basics. So garlic paste, ginger paste and tandoori paste made. Then I used up some veggies and herbs that were about to turn to make my veggie stock. Best stock ever.
So what cafe style breakfast did we have this weekend. Banana and ricotta pancakes. I used the ricotta I made the other night. Everyone is loving these fluffy clouds of goodness
A gooey indulgent treat for this rainy weather today. Indulgent chocolate Brownies from the Thermomix favourites cookbook.
I woke up this morning to this. Pot set home made vanilla yogurt.
Home made ricotta cheese in under an hour. Two ingredients milk and white vinegar. This is about 340g of ricotta and it’s super taste.

Happy Easter everyone.
So while we are all at home I am using this time to try new things. So I decided that we should have a home made time cha night and I would make all the dumplings including the wrappers from scratch. I also rolled and made my first ever spring rolls.
What are you trying that is new?
Tonight I had the night off from dinner. So Annabelle made mac’n’cheese from the hip hip hooray cookbook. So good Lani was eyeingnit off as well 😂
Can you guess what’s proving in my thermometer today?
So what did you guess we had for dinner? Well it was home made nachos
Can you guess what we are having tonight from this colourful dish
Okay so for dinner tonight is one of my daughter’s fav meals ever. Whenever we have Japanese she will order this without a doubt so tonight I made it from scratch. Katsu chicken from the thermomg mains cookbook. Oh and Annabelle is a super fussy eater. Her verdict better than the one from the shop!!!!
So what do you do with bread that is going a bit stale and you have enough breadcrumbs..... you make a family classic bread and butter pudding. I will upload the video tomorrow
As promised here is a little video of the hollandaise sauce
I was wanting something a little sweet for afternoon tea so I whipped up a batch of cinnamon doughnuts. Now to settle in and watch a movie. Lol and no I didn’t eat them all. I put three on a seperate plate
Welcome
My Thermie journey started in 2011 with the purchase of the old TM31. It was love from first sight. I had just been diagnosed as a diabetic, my eldest child has suffered with skin concerns since birth and I was desperate to find a way to cook from scratch but still have a time to do other things as I was still working full time in a Finance roll.
I loved being able to make scones and so much more. I was making dishes that I would never have made before or thought about making. It was a thrill to be able to make my own butter.
Then in 2013 I found out we were going to expand our family by one. I was so thrilled and wanted to be able to provide the baby with homemade baby food where I had control over the salt and preservative content. And at this time Thermomix produced and amazing baby and Toddler book that I still make food out of to this very day. I learnt how to batch cook and freeze and it couldn’t have been easier. This was a life saver and an extra set of hands for me.
There have been so many changes to the Thermomix I can’t wait to show you what can be created with the brand new WIFI enabled Tm6.
