Nexzter Australia thank you for your support. Data will be posted soon, having the confidence to take T1 at 180kmh plus and then brake into T2 was fantastic.
Whilst my clutch issues prevented going 100% on the throttle due to slip, the brakes never let me down. I was able to string together 1:49 laps with no fade!
It was a pleasure to be at your stand talking to people about your pads and giving feedback on them. Highlight was being there when the first jumper (teal) was purchased by a fellow MX5 owner 😁

The World Time Attack Challenge 2024 has wrapped up, and what an incredible event it was! From record-breaking lap times to intense competition, WTAC continues to deliver the ultimate in motorsport excitement.

Pit walk time!
The replacement clutch is slipping if I put the power down too quickly so it needs to be nursed.
This is the best lap of the day however the theroeticl for session 2 was a 1:47 flat. Still along way off my 1:45...

Bring on World Time Attack Challenge 2024 and do not forget to stop in and say hi as well as pop over to the Nexzter Australia stand and pick up some goodies!
A quick upload from the VBOX Motorsport VBox Lite showing the 3rd session on the Sprint, whilst the track was still a little damp I was still able to put a decent lap down. I had dialed in a little more rear bias at the start of the morningm however wound it back to about 45/55 F/R.
On the brake notes, in the front the car is running wilwood (opossed pistons) where as in the rear it is the stock OEM NB8B calipers which are the sliding type. So far there have been no signs of pad failure in the front or the rear...
This lap was again on old CSR tyres that I think have just about given as much as they can... however the data showed that at least through T1 & 2 I was under my PB and on target for a 56... So much for the tyres being 'old'.
Despite Tuned By Luke dropping the RPM down, the increase in the mid range more than made up for the loss of 125 rpm at redline!
The car is in the shed and will have some brand new A052's fitted for my final appearance driving at World Time Attack Challenge.
