U11s Silver Medal 🥈 2023

What an exceptional performance from the boys who have been involved in this comp for the past 4 years, slowly progressing each year as they learn to play the Dragons style of futsal 🔥

Finishing 2nd in their group they progressed through to finals in round of 16 against , 1/4 finals against , semi finals against all Melbourne teams 😅

The Grand Final was very entertaining with both teams playing exceptional futsal which could have gone either way. Final score 3-4 with a goal scored in extra time with a couple of minutes remaining. Congratulations to for winning the competition!

Special mention to for taking out the golden glove in his first year as a goal keeper… and scored a ripper goal from the back of the court ⚽️

Thank you to coach for your preparation and guidance, a fantastic effort 👏👏👏 Thank you to the parents and families who were part of this experience and made it happen.

So much excitement and amazing play at this young foundational age who have begun to understand the tactical side of futsal 👏👏👏 Well done to the players who finished 2nd in a tough group and made it through to the round of 16. What a final match which ended up 8-7… plenty of goals and action!

All 3 teams are at different stages of their development. All teams played our style of futsal (even at U9s). Development is a patient process and you reap the rewards eventually. There are no shortcuts.

Football Victoria (FV) has confirmed the trials and training schedule for the Victorian State Representative Program and has reopened the registration process for players and coaches who wish to represent Victoria at the 2022 National Futsal Championships (NFC).

Originally scheduled for January 2022, the NFC will now take place between 10-14 April 2022 in Gold Coast, Queensland.

Dragons Futsal Club ❤️🐉⚽️ will be participating in its 6th Gold Coast International Futsal Championship (formerly Craig Foster Cup).

It is the highlight of the futsal calendar with our futsal family travelling to the Gold Coast to have fun both on and off the pitch in the beautiful Queensland surroundings.

We have previously ranked 🥈&🥉 in the overall club standings (points are based on total team points).

We are proud winners of 7x🏆 and 6x🥈 in various age divisions and most teams making it to semi-finals. Most importantly, our teams are looking forward to travelling outside of Victoria in what has been a tough couple of years with harsh lockdowns and limited sporting opportunities.
