We’ve made a slight adjustment to our Grounded Tan colour. It was getting quite dark, almost as deep as our Wild Brown, so I decided it was time for a change. This leather has always been a bit tricky—it either turns too orange or too dark over time. But for now, I’m really pleased with the character that’s coming through. It’s still the same matte leather you all love, just a bit lighter. I think it beautifully captures the essence of Rustic Wren.

Comparing two journals , one made in 2017 and one made yesterday. It’s heartwarming to see the progress I’ve made in the seven years, one handcrafted and it would’ve taken hours to make,from cutting out the leather to punching the holes to stitching each stitch by hand. Never-lone actually teaching myself a different style. ThenAnd then the second took Me 40 minutes from the moment I decided to when I got to fill it with notebooks.

We underestimate how much we improve, learn + develop over time.

It’s a nice little reminder to reflect on how far we’ve come.

We’ve had to wait for the next brush roll leather shipment for sometime. Due to the tanning + production process.

This had a few extras added to it, ie front pocket and a snap closure on the inside. 🖤🤎🧡🤍

Both of these truckers’ logbooks are crafted from the same high-quality Rustic Whiskey leather. Upon receiving them, you’ll notice their pristine appearance. However, as you begin to use them, the leather quickly develops a charming worn and distressed look, showcasing the unique journey each logbook embarks on with its owner.

Well here you are, these are the travellers notebook styles.

Willie Wagtail - Honeyeater - Red Robin

The elastic strands along the spine hold the notebooks. You can put a thin one (around the 80 to 100pgs mark) on each strand or you can put two strands per notebook if you have thicker books that you prefer. Even one on the two centre stands if that’s the way roll.

These styles are my favourite, you can put more in them and create quite a chunky journal.
