We are currently seeking two experienced Carpenters to join our commercial team. Our projects mainly involve childcare renovations, new builds, and tilt panel retail/warehouses. You will be involved in all stages of construction, from demolition to excavation, formwork, framing, cladding, and fix out.
Responsibilities:
• Reading and interpreting plans and specifications
• Undertaking all aspects of carpentry work, including formwork, framing, cladding, and fix out
• Ensuring high quality workmanship and attention to detail
• Maintaining a safe and clean work site
• Liaising with other tradespeople, supervisors, and clients as required
Skills/ Requirements:
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Must have own hand and power tools
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

The process of lifting and raising a house is a slow and deliberate one, with careful attention paid to every detail to ensure the safety and stability of the structure.

But when you watch it in fast forward, you get to see all of the movements and changes happen quickly, almost like a dance. It can be mesmerizing to watch the house slowly separate from its foundation, and then rise higher and higher as the jacks or hydraulic lift systems do their work.

There's something almost hypnotic about watching the various workers move around the site, checking and adjusting the supports and making sure everything is in place. It's a bit like watching a complex machine in action, with each piece moving in perfect harmony to achieve the desired result.
