This 4 ply yarn is great for socks or fine lace if knitted single strand. It may be knitted holding two strands together to get an equivalent of an 8 ply thickness.

Egyptian Cotton Sliver.

Great for spinning on a Tahkli and other craft uses.

Cotton is a non-lustrous, short stapled plant fibre. This is one of the longer varieties. There is evidence that cotton was grown in Egypt about 12000BC and India 3000BC.

Soft Rambouillet roving.

King Louis XVI of France first imported the ancestors of this breed from Spain in 1786 to his estate at Rambouillet. These sheep are related to Merino.

Perfect for spinning or felting, this fibre makes soft, springy yarn.

Milk fibre was invented in the 1930's to compete with wool.

It is soft and silky, has good moisture absorption, and can be dyed using acid (wool) dyes.

I would recommend blending it with wool for spinning.

Recycled Sari Silk is 100% silk fibre that is leftover from weaving the beautiful Indian Saris. The threads are collected, cut and carded together to create this soft and luxurious fibre. It can be carded together with wool or spun on its own. This fibre has a short staple length, and will make a textured yarn.

This yarn absorbs light in brightness, and glows in the dark. It will glow in the dark for about 6 hours, depending on how much light it received. Great for making accessories such as hats, gloves and scarves. This yarn feels like cotton, but is made from polyester.

Angelina is usually used in blends with other fibres, to add sparkle and create a unique finish.

Perfect for adding sparkle to hand felting or hand spinning projects. A small amount goes a long way.

This beautiful lofty yarn comes from the Baltics. It is unspun, meaning it has no twist (like pencil roving). Care must be taken not to pull on the thread while knitting. Once knitted, the fabric is strong and durable. This yarn has two threads running parallel to each other for ease of knitting double stranded.
