Established in 2006, Rural Affinity provides an extensive range of agricultural insurance products which are underwritten by one of the worldโs largest insurance groups. Rural Affinity is wholly owned by founding directors James Hooper and Mike Kilborn. Our team has significant experience and understanding of both insurance and agriculture. We pride ourselves on our customer service, relationships and industry knowledge.

We are excited to announce that Leah Walker has joined the Rural Affinity team on 15th January 2024 as Compliance & IDR Manager. Leah brings both strong experience in, and a general passion for, compliance and dispute resolution. With the attention on compliance within the financial services sector showing no signs of slowing, Leahโs expertise in a dedicated compliance and IDR role will be a great addition to our team.

We are excited to announce that Koel Turner has joined the Rural Affinity team as Head of IT. With over 20 yearsโ experience working in many facets of financial services technology primarily in the solutions architecture space Koel will be a great addition to our IT team, particularly as we continue development of Laserbeam and move to towards broker access for Farm Pack and Small Farm in 2024.

Rural Affinity is pleased to introduce our newest team member, Doug Beckinsale. Doug has joined us as a graduate underwriter in our St Leonards HQ. Doug recently finished his Bachelor of Agribusiness Management at Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga. He also has first-hand experience working in Ag having had fun with mixed cropping, sheep and dairy farms. We know Doug will be a credit to our team now and in the years to come. ๐จโ๐พ
