What a shock 🙄

The Liberals' nuclear fantasies are a distraction, they don’t and won’t exist. What does exist is the 92 new coal and gas projects in the government’s pipeline, and the 5 new coal and gas projects which Labor has approved in the last year. These are driving the climate crisis, taking billions in public subsidies and making billions in tax free dollars right now.

The future is in renewable energy. Not nuclear. And not coal and gas.

🏛️ COURT UPDATE: All bail conditions have been lifted for Anna and Dharma. Their hearing has been adjourned.

Today Anna and Dharma faced the Adelaide Magistrates Court after taking disruptive action targeting Santos’ fossil fuelled sponsorship of the Tour Down Under.

On January 12th Anna and Dharma glued themselves to a pile of bicycles dumped outside the Santos office.

The bicycles, which were rescued from landfill, were chained together and covered in fake, non-toxic oil. The trail of fake oil ran from the bicycles down to the Santos office, drawing the connection between the TDU and dirty fossil fuel money.

Both Anna and Dharma were arrested and charged with obstructing traffic.

The action drew widespread media attention and kicked off XRSA’s wave of action calling on the SA government to dump Santos as TDU sponsor.

The action continues this May as APPEA, the mouthpiece of the oil and gas industry, hold their major yearly conference in Adelaide.
