We had a great time at the Australian Dragon Boat Federation National Championships in Albury.
It was good to meet teams from all over Australia and occasionally sneak out from our store to watch the racing.
A great sport for spectators too.

A meeting with like minded women!
We have all started our own small business and met up today in Geelong for a coffee and a chat about how we can support each other.
Meet Jodie (left) who has Synergise Health and Fitness Centre and runs a range of exercise and gym session for all levels.

Jay is on the right with Outside Adventures and she runs fantastic canoe and kayak paddle sessions.

Have you registered for the World Record attempt at The F.O.C.K.?
With almost 40km of flat water from below the Hampden Bridge in town to Fossickers Flat on the Upper Shoalhaven River in the Ettrema Wilderness, there's a lot of room for boats!
There currently isn't a world record for the world's longest line of floating unpowered water craft and we're looking to set the global benchmark.

Just to show I do test out a lot of clothing we sell!
This is my MUSTO hat.
Fleece lined and water proof fabric on the outside. It is so warm and I much prefer this to a beanie that gets wet, soggy and potentially blown off.
If you sail a dinghy tuck in the chin cord so you don't get it caught on the tiller extension.
Yes it has happened to me and caused some very tense moments!
I love this hat and MUST have my MUSTO on cold days.

Tested!
I love helming a Fireball on a windy day (see pic.) but visibility is a challenge. The spray hits your face, salt water droplets stick to the lens of your sunglasses and sunscreen runs into your eyes.
I decided to try a pair of the Vaikobi Sorrento Polarized Sunglasses (Floating) and tested them in strong winds. I could see!
The lens has a water repellent coating and the glasses wrap around so both these features helped with visibility on the water.
What a difference!
