The work of SG, contemporary geometric abstraction purveyor

Greetings all. With the changes to facebook's handling of pages, it has become more of a hassle to post here, as opposed to IG which will cross-post to my personal page but not this one.
Thus I will advise while I will still update things here from time to time, this is definitely not the best platform to see the latest.
First few paintings and sketches from my new body of work. Heinrich Kluver's form constants and mathematical relationships.
Digital version of the entoptic form recently painted
Part of the process of exploring the form constants is exploring the work I made from my own over the years. This piece is starting out with big 1998 vibes.
Repeated circle form with drift.
Pushing a few pixels around exploring a few form/motion constant combinations
Grid Rotation 1.
Acrylic on Canvas, 120x120cm.
I've relocated, and after a long period of doing commissioned murals only, I'm finally back in the studio. This next body of work will be an exploration of a few ideas, including the work of Heinrich Kluver, and his "form constants". The suggestion of a perceptual framework independent of culture, resulting from a shared structure within the visual cortex, has interested me for a while and the time has come to make some art about it.
Process.
To be fair, these three, "Daisy, "Chunky Move" and "Seated", not going cheap.
With EOFY approaching and a possible relocation on the cards, I'm keen to thin out the pile of works I'm storing. All of these half price or less. Beer print available in a cpl of different sizes as well.
New mural alert!
Just finished this whopper for City Of Charles Sturt at the Waste transfer station.
Always happy when I can see the change in an otherwise underwhelming space.
Quite late for this round of the but yknow, life.
Last month's completely solid block piece led me to think about things intrinsic to medium, in that i would paint that piece the same way with a brush. This round I've made the adjustment to utilize the textures and marks unique to aerosol, and in doing so leaving a document of process for other sprayers. This has always been an aspect of painting generally that's excited me, and something important enough that everything i make carries the evidence of my hand.
Yesterday's time filler.
Second month, second adjustment. Which, in the way I'm approaching the , means a fairly binary choice which leads the piece to different places. Starting from basically the same first lines (image 3) this time, ALL the boxes and all the touching shapes. NO bars or things hanging off the letters. A little retro in a way, but also a piece that raises some ideas about medium-specific elements and the differences in approach between liquid and aerosol paints.
Had a little jam today, but before I show you that, I'd like to talk about the Euro-spec laks I recently picked up from Da Klinic.
I'd have to do some snooping to determine whether the valve is actually new, but I found these easier to control than I've ever experienced from an AVT product. Coverage seems as good as ever, consistency is right up there, but the thin, consistent lines I was able to pull with these today truely impressed me.
