We did it! 💪🏼

After 9 days of hiking, we finally reached Thorong La Pass in Nepal, one of the highest trekking passes in the world at 5,416m. This stunning pass connects the village of Manang in the east with Muktinath in the west and offers the most breathtaking mountain views we’ve ever experienced — true postcard moments! 🏔️

Surrounded by the majestic Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges, we truly felt how small and powerless we are against the vastness of nature. These mountains stand timeless, untouched by our presence, indifferent to our struggles. Every step reminded us that in this wild environment, nature is always in control; we are merely visitors passing through, and respect is essential. 🙏🏼

Carrying everything we needed on our backs, we traversed diverse climates and high altitudes, surrounded by the magnificent Himalayas. It’s an experience neither of us has the words for just yet.

It stripped us down to our core, and we loved every single minute of it. Thank you, Nepal 🇳🇵 — you exceeded all our expectations and so much more! ❤️

Happy 30th birthday .t.brown 🥳🥳

Your love and passion for the mountains is beautifully immense, so being 4,200 metres high in the Himalayas today with you, surrounded by the world’s tallest peaks really does feel like the most incredible way to celebrate your special day- still pinching myself that we pulled this together so last minute 😂

I’m so grateful to be on this crazy adventure with you as you start your next lap around the sun. I love you ❤️

Today we start the Annapurna Circuit 🏔️ This 230 km trek will take us through a huge range of landscapes—from subtropical forests to high-altitude deserts, all the way to the snowy peaks of the Annapurna range and eventually to the Thorong La pass at 5,416m. Along the way, we’ll move through remote villages, Buddhist monasteries, and experience local culture up close. It’s going to be a challenging few weeks, but the views and the journey are what make this trek one of the most well-known in the world… lets do this 💪🏼

Another bucket list hike ticked off ✔️

From the very bottom of Mt Wellington to the top! 1,305m altitude gained walking 22km. When I lived in Tasmania 2 years ago I looked at this mountain daily, I did little stints of its numerous trails but never attempted the whole thing so to be back 2 years later conquering this massive mountain feels really good. Thank you for always pushing me to do the unthinkable while keeping me smiling the whole way 🩷

Next up- Mount Feathertop in VIC this weekend 🏔️

I Spent the weekend on Lake Cooper and Gaynor swamp wildlife reserve protecting ducks from shooters with a group of really rad people from CADS over the weekend. (Coalition against duck shooting)

One of the most rewarding but hard weekends I have ever had in my life. Duck shooting season commenced last week in Victoria. 2.5 months of the year where shooting ducks is legal every. Single. Day. Even though other states in Australia have banned this disgusting ‘hobby’ the Victorian government still allows this to occur..

This disgraceful act litters nature with bullet cassings and sees hundreds of thousands inocent ducks killed throughout Victoria’s wetlands, and leaves many more injured to die slow and painful deaths. The killed and injured ducks include many endangered breeds.. all in the name of ‘fun’

CADS- a organisations made up of 100% volunteers station volunteers across Victoria throughout this period to make it harder for shooters by putting ourselves in harms warm to protect these beautiful innocent animals. We did many things to accomplish this even though the Victoria law makes it very hard for us.

It is illegal for a non shooter to be in possession of an injured duck to help them. Yes you read that right. It is illegal for us to carry an injured duck in these parks.
I prey this is the last season that CADS is needed 🙏🏼

And we are officially volunteers!!

Please save this number and call if you see a native animal in need and cannot help yourself as they will send a volunteer out to rescue that animal (and that could be us!) 🙏🏼

If that animal has a pouch- please also check the pouch, as there could be a baby inside that is still alive. If you do not feel comfortable doing that call that number 🦘

It’s springtime so there are lots of babies around so please look out for them and drive carefully legends 💖

Thank you to for all the incredible work you do xo

‼️ Hey friends 👋🏻
I’v got some exciting news!! and brace yourselves because it has nothing to do with sourodugh 😂 On Sunday, October 15th (yep- really soon!!) I'm diving headfirst into my very first half marathon, the Nike Melbourne Marathon. It's a massive 21.1km run, and my wild dream is to cross the finish line in less than 2.5 hours 🤸🏼‍♀️

Now, let's get real for a moment—I've never taken on a run of this magnitude before.. So, picture me: a bundle of excitement and so many nerves all rolled into one.

But here's the kicker: I plan to conquer these jitters by championing a cause that's super close to my heart—animal protection!

And here's the kicker's kicker: The day before my half marathon gig, I'll be wrapping up my training with Wildlife Victoria, an incredible non-profit organisation. They'll dub me an official volunteer, giving me the power to make a difference in the lives of our furry, feathered, and finned friends right here in Victoria.

So, when I lace up those running shoes on the big race day, I'll have all that critter-loving knowledge fresh in my noggin, and I'll be sprinting with thoughts of those adorable animals that we can help leading the way 🦆

Wildlife Victorias mission statement: Our mission is to help and protect wildlife through our rescue, education, and advocacy activities. We respond to community reports of distressed wildlife and facilitate the care needed. We promote community knowledge and care of wildlife and advocate for the protection and welfare of wildlife🐨

If you find yourself connecting with this mission statement and can appreciate the upcoming 2.5-hour endurance test I'm diving into, you have the power to be a real superhero by tossing in some cash on my fundraising page. Donations processed through this platform are rock-solid secure, and they'll go directly to Wildlife Victoria (link in bio to donate) 💰

Big thanks for having my (and the animals) back! Xo

Why am I showing anyone that will look the beautiful Gourmet Traveller’s July issue?

So glad you asked 😏 Our copper dough scraper is featured on their ‘objects of desire’ page 😱

Fits the theme perfectly as our dough scraper is sexy, efficient, sustainable and makes working with any type of dough a dream- it’s the only one I will use for my sourdough baking and shaping 💭

Thank you for the feature what a dream come true! 🥰 *product tagged

Sourdough + vegan + banh mi = the trifecta for me 🎉

Where focus goes energy flows so I guess I can’t be that surprised that I stumbled across a vegan sourdough cafe specialising in banh mi’s AND zero waste 🥹

The perfect end to my perfect holiday 💖🤗
