Thanks so much to everyone who bought our Easter Bilby soaps! We sold them all and raised an amazing $135 for Save The Bilby Fund from soap sales and private donations! This donation was then matched and doubled by the fund for a grand total of $270! These funds are critical for the ongoing conservation of this species through ongoing captive breeding, releases into a predator proof sanctuary and research. If you missed out on a Bilby soap we will have them again next Easter or you can donate directly to Save the Bilby Fund.

It’s NAIDOC Week!

These little soapy beauties are back to celebrate this years theme - For our Elders, recognising the contributions and knowledge our First Nations elders have given us.

They are naturally scented with an Australian native essential oil blend that smells wonderfully earthy and so Australian!

These soaps will be available at this weekends markets; on Saturday and on Sunday. Available until sold out so be quick! 🐝

I’m back! Just thought I’d share what I’ve been up to as I’ve just returned from a brief hiatus 🐝

I’ve been a busy bee restocking soaps and wraps and creating some new ideas. Outside of this little business I’m also halfway through my Honours year in Environmental Science and have been flat out with coursework and fieldwork. I’m working on a project with microbats! 🦇 These are the tiny little insectivorous bats you might be lucky to spot flitting around at dusk. I’m investigating the effects of temporary, intensive lighting on the activity of these little bats. So you’ll often find me out in the field, installing and retrieving microbat detectors, which record bat calls. This is an exciting project for me and keeps me inspired in the conservation field, I’m hopeful one day to make a difference for our native species!

Keep an eye out in the coming months as l hope to release some microbat inspired soaps and beeswax wraps! 🦇

Artisan soaps made with local craft beer.

These are super chunky 165g soap bars and made the cold process method with Victorian olive oil and luscious organic fairtrade coconut oil, shea butter and cacao butter. Scented with essential oils that complement the natural hops scent. Beer brings extra lather to the soap due to the high sugar content.

Trying out a new recipe incorporating olive oil infused with Davidson’s Plum, a native Australian fruit. Didn’t quite turn out red like I’d hoped but excited for the cut and lather test!

Scented with a delectable native Australian essential oil blend of honey myrtle, lemon myrtle, blue gum and rosalina.

We’ll be at Hurstbridge Market (food and produce only) this Sunday 5th Sept with our yummy raw honey and beeswax food wraps. We’ll have some gift packs available for last minute Father’s Day shopping or send a DM if you’d like a custom gift box made 🐝

Introducing our soapy Craft Beer Packs!

Three different Australian craft beers have been selected for this trio of chunky soaps. The sugars in beer make for an extra bubbly bar and the light hops scent is complimented with three soothing essential oil blends.

India Pale Ale + Honey: made with 40 Acres IPA and our own raw honey, both the honey and beer are from Sandon, Victoria which captures the essence of the Victorian Goldfields. The scents of hops and honey combine beautifully with essential oils of lavender + sweet orange.

Oatmeal Stout: made with Hop Nation Karma Oatmeal Stout with the addition of ground oatmeal for a soothing and scrubby bar. Scented with a grounding blend of cedarwood, eucalyptus, clary sage and juniper.

Coffee Stout: made with Nomad Piccolo Stout, this is one for the coffee lovers with the addition of ground coffee. Scented with an intoxicating blend of peppermint, sweet orange, star anise and clove bud.

Available as a jute bag gift pack or as a hamper tray with a natural sisal soap saver.

These stunning wet shave soap sets are the perfect Father’s Day gift. A sneak peak at what I’m making ahead for Father’s Day 🐝

Beer Soaps 🍺

Made with Aussie beer as the water replacement these should be lovely bars with lots of lather!

Made with our usual nourishing oils and butters, they are scented with a combo of essential oils that complement the mild hops scent of the bars. The plan is to cut them as chunky bars so they last longer in the shower.

Plastic free July may nearly be over but it’s never too late to start swapping out single use plastics in the home.

Ditch the plastic!
Swap out plastic shampoo bottles for solid shampoo bars, plastic detergent bottles for solid dish soaps and cling wraps for reusable beeswax wraps. Even our palm free soaps are packaged plastic free. We use post-consumer recycled paper for our labels and every product is created with sustainability in mind.

Every little bit counts towards a sustainable, plastic free life 🐝
