The last couple of days have been a roller coaster of emotions paired with little sleep.

The worst thing as a parent is to see your child hurt or in pain.

Hospitals are not my thing, like most people I do anything to stay away from them.
The distrust I have In our medical system is no secret, yet I am so grateful for the level of care Brooklyn has received. The doctors and nurses have been amazing, working tirelessly around the clock.

Happiest of Birthday’s to this incredible Man I get to call my Dad

I remember one day questioning you about your goals and achievements in life and asking you "Don't you want more in life Dad? "

Your reply was "What more could I want? You three kids are my greatest achievements. What more could I want than my famiy"

This has stuck with me for such a long time. It shows how much of a devoted father you have been to all of us. And has made me realise that there doesn't always have to be more....but to be forever grateful for what we have...... Everything else is a bonus.

Looking for a little adventure?

Horse head rock was one of our favourite attractions to visit on our NSW South Coast Travels.

This amazing rock formation is over 500 years old and surrounded by absolute pristine waters.

Its located off the Sapphire Coast near Bermagui. The best way it can be viewed is from the look out platform which is a 1.5km elevated walk. The kids will love it.

There is a little surprise at the end if you dare to be a little more adventurous. You are able to climb down at low tide and experience the whole beach to yourself🙌

This is ME! a few years back. A very worn out unhappy version of myself. Someone that was a people pleaser, had no self worth, was in a toxic relationship, surrounded by toxic people.
At this point in my life I was suffering on the inside and looking back its clear to me NOW that it showed on the outside.

People may have thought I had it all together but I didn’t, and I was in denial.
This was me very much in my masculine, working 2 jobs both day and night whilst trying to raise 2 little ones.

I’m grateful for this person
I appreciate this part of me
I honour who I was back then

You made me who I am today

The total and complete opposite,
Happy, strong, balanced. A person who knows and speaks her truth. Who knows her worth, and who has a deep sense of gratitude, peace and compassion.

Today I love all of who I am, not just what I perceive to be the good parts.

I’m am grateful for the abundance of blessings in my life.

We are forever changing, moving, growing and learning as human beings.

And here’s my story WHY…..

After I became pregnant I felt a shift of awareness deep inside my soul. They say; “when a mother births new life into the world, she also births a new version of herself.”

After my third child, and having a home birth I found this statement to be very true. I had released an innate strength to overcome my fears, to connect and to totally trust in myself. (This was my re-birth❤️)

I am stepping into my true potential.

Its time for me to expand my light, to think bigger, and to positively impact as many lives/people as I can.

When I look back, this is what I had always been afraid of. Always thinking I needed to keep myself small in order to not stand out. What a BS story!

The only person that holds us back is ourselves. What we are most afraid of becomes our most treasured gifts.

So cheers to the new improved version of me 🥂

I want to have those conversations with substance, create connections with meaning, compassion without judgement and love that is unconditional.

Reading and understanding your child’s needs and wants are key to meeting their fulfilment. It equals a happy, relaxed, chilled being.

This little guy loves chilling in his own energy space and I love that about him. Nurture your child’s ability to know who they are and what they want, it helps them to grow and develop into awareness, builds trust in them selves and who they were born to be.

This is my 10 year old daughter ~ Autumn Maree ~
She is starting her own small business creating Macramé pieces - fruit baskets, plant hangers and hand made jewellery.

I am amazed by her creativity and passion for arts. I love how her mind works; she wants to be her own boss and crush whatever goals she put her mind too. This clever super human has already surpassed me in her independent, determined creative mindset.

~ EMOTIONS ~
Who else is feeling the huge emotional shift at the moment?

I have been feeling overwhelmed with a kaleidoscope of emotions.
Excitement, fear, gratitude, happiness, curiosity, anxiousness, frustration, freedom………. It feels like there is a huge change coming, like we are on the cusp of being born into a new way of living as a collective.

Individually you may already feel like your in this new world, I know I do…… but unity as a whole is the destination.

On my self discovery journey I have learnt to articulate my emotions and really feel them, this is not always an easy task.

If you have been struggling with your kids at the moment this is a reminder that they are very sensitive souls and may also be feeling the shift.

Take time to just be with them and enjoy the little things. Ground them with a hug or a kiss, it’s amazing how quickly the energy lifts.

If you’re anything like me…..you’ll understand the feeling of distress and awkwardness when it comes to being the centre of attention.

Ever since my very first birthday, up till the age of 10, I cried at every single birthday party. I dreaded the time When it came to cutting cake and singing happy birthday 😭🫣
There was nothing happy about it for me……my theme song should of been
🎶 it’s my party, and I’ll cry if I want to 🎶
🤪😂

I’ve never been very good at accepting praise or being in the spotlight. So when my sister told me that she really wanted to gift me with a Blessing Way for the upcoming birth of our baby, I cringed 😬

Feelings of anxiety and awkwardness arose and my first response was “ No thanks, I don’t want to do anything”

BUT…….My sister being my sister, really wanted to do this for me. She explained to me that a ‘Blessing Way’ is an acknowledgment, honour and celebration of mother hood, a coming together of close family and friends to set positive intentions for the new birth.

Something On the inside bubbled in me, I felt what she was saying really resonated with my intentions for my pregnancy journey. And apart of that was the gift of receiving.

It was my turn to fully allow myself to accept the honour of being in the spotlight of being a mother.

Leading up to and on the day, fear of embarrassment and anxiousness crept in. When I first walked in the room it was beautifully set up with flowers candles, pillows and a gorgeous centrepiece. I was met by the host Karley and this big huge white cane chair. The first thing I said was, “Karley that chair is not for me?!?”

She said, “it certainly is……but we can definitely remove it if you don’t feel comfortable”

My heart sank and then quickly returned, I was so relieved and instantly felt comfortable in her energy. Karley explained that today was all about me, however I would like to celebrate the day is totally up to me.
She ran through what the ceremony consisted of and allowed me to pick and choose the flow.

As I traveled through the green scenery of the majestic forest, I saw water flowing through the crystal clear lake with Lilly pads following the current.​​​​​​​​

I went to take a closer look to see if I could find anything interesting. ​​​​​​​​

Never in my life did I honestly feel like I was capable to have a natural birth with no form of drugs.

Choosing to home birth was not the easiest choice; it meant facing my fears, fully trusting in my body and my baby, acquiring new knowledge and knowing that I would be in a safe environment.

I was so grateful that I had an amazing supportive partner, family and friends who never allowed me to doubt myself or my decisions. It was the most empowering, uplifting experience I have ever been through.
