Congratulations to Kayley for being selected in the Sydney West girls team due to compete in the NSWPSSA Softball Championship at Woolooware in September. This is an amazing achievement at such a young age.

Good luck to players Mckenzie Newson and Arwen Kavanagh as they compete in the Open Women’s State Championships for the first time as well as statistician Donna Kelly. They are playing at BISP. Their Cumberland Nepean team will be live streamed at 1pm today via Softball NSW YouTube channel.

Congratulations to Arwen Kavanagh on winning a gold medal at the Australian All Schools Championships that was held in Queensland this week. It was also an amazing achievement in being selected into the Australian All Schools tournament team.

Teeball and softball registrations are currently open. Uniform hire is included in fees up to 15 years old. A free glove and ball is included for new players up to 12 years old.

Today we had our youngest softball players competing at the Sydney West carnival at International Peace Park, Seven Hills. William Layton played in the grand final with his Wentworthville/Seven Hills team.

We also had a couple of girls also playing in the competition with Kayley being selected into the Sydney West Squad. Congratulations everyone!

Our junior registrations are open for our upcoming softball season. Games are played on Saturday mornings at International Peace Park in Seven Hills over spring and summer. Boys and girls welcome from 3 years old to 18 years old.

Congratulations to our current treasurer Donna Kelly for winning her first gold medal at the O/35’s Nationals as the statistician.

A shout out to Leah Bradley who has won her 3rd gold medal in a row and was also named Best Batter at the Nationals. Leah started her softball career at Eagles and more recently in the last summer season was seen helping our junior pitchers and catchers at our club training.

Congratulations to Donna Kelly for representing NSW for the first time today as the O/35’s NSW Women’s Statistician. We wish you all the best and are keen to see plenty of green circles coloured in your score book at the National Championships at BISP this week.
