What is โ€˜self-careโ€™?

Self-care is anything you do that helps to improve your own wellbeing. It can be as simple as telling someone how you feel, doing something that relaxes you, or taking a day off work when you need a break. Itโ€™s essential in stopping stress from getting the better of you.

Self-care can be broken up into six types: emotional, physical, workplace or professional, psychological, relationship and spiritual:

Emotional self-care: being aware of your feelings and promoting positive emotions in yourself.

Physical self-care: doing things that are healthy and comforting for your body.

Psychological self-care: addressing things that could be contributing to issues such as anxiety or depression.

Relationship self-care: ensuring the relationships in your life are enriching, positive and supportive.

Spiritual self-care: recognising and drawing strength from things in life that are greater than yourself, such as your community or environment.

Workplace and professional self-care: finding a good work/life balance.

Next time you hate on life ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ‘ฟ

Remember it's all about perspective ๐Ÿ˜‰

I had a client who has s*x twice a day, exercises daily and reads two books a week.

When he gets that scheduled monthly call, I always reassure him โค๏ธโ€๐Ÿฉน๐Ÿ’”

"It's ok, there's only 6 months left and we can get back to face to face healing sessions when you get out of prison"

Research Guides: Organizing Your Social Sciences Research Paper: 8. The Discussion 14/06/2020

This is what Iโ€™m in the middle of so AGAIN, had a peak at FB to get my mind out f things but thereโ€™s NO WAY around this ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿป

โ€”-

The purpose of the discussion is to interpret and describe the significance of your findings in light of what was already known about the research problem being investigated and to explain any new understanding or insights that emerged as a result of your study of the problem.

The discussion will always connect to the introduction by way of the research questions or hypotheses you posed and the literature you reviewed, but the discussion does not simply repeat or rearrange the first parts of your paper; the discussion clearly explain how your study advanced the reader's understanding of the research problem from where you left them at the end of your review of prior research.

Importance of a Good Discussion

The discussion section is often considered the most important part of your research paper because this is where you:

Most effectively demonstrates your ability as a researcher to think critically about an issue, to develop creative solutions to problems based upon a logical synthesis of the findings, and to formulate a deeper, more profound understanding of the research problem under investigation'

Present the underlying meaning of your research, note possible implications in other areas of study, and explore possible improvements that can be made in order to further develop the concerns of your research;

Highlight the importance of your study and how it can contribute to understanding the research problem within the field of study

State how the findings from your study revealed and helped fill gaps in the literature that had not been previously exposed or adequately described; and,

Engage the reader in thinking critically about issues based upon an evidence-based interpretation of findings; it is not governed strictly by objective reporting of information.

The old, antiquated system is starting to crack.

I am here to finish it off.

I make no apologies for who I have become.

I am committed to greater truths, deeper meaning and a life of purpose.

My Doctoral work titled:

Impact of the Collaborative Peer Recovery Coaching (CPRC) Program on Recovery Capital Resources in Participants with Substance Use Issues
.. is my driving force to contribute to a positive movement for improvement of the collective.

It has taken me 5.5 years of research, reading peer-reviewed studies, synthesising information, critically analysing untruths, developing โ€œPrinciple-Centred Recovery Resource Index - or PRRIโ€, sharpening the outcomes of my addiction recovery practice and documenting this in the highest form of academic masterpiece that I can bring through.

When one is called to this highest pathway, then know that during the ascension process, the old life will disintegrate.

You will often find yourself growing at a soul level, and may outgrow those souls around you.

These most often are family members, and those closest and dearest to you.

They will simply not understand what is happening to you, and may wish to hold you in their own concept of who you are and what you are supposed to be doing, and how you should be acting and being.

Most often they will cling to their old systems and beliefs which makes them feel safe, while you transcend all of this.

Once one transcends the old belief systems and the old religions (for they have no place anymore in the 5th and higher dimensions, where one transcends the need to be controlled and bound, and mindless), one cannot go back to them.

There may be a temptation to do so, and become part of the group again, for some souls need the safety of the group and numbers, yet one will soon find that their old ways simply cannot serve to fill the hunger of the soul for greater truths, greater meaning, greater purpose.

The Calling, once it comes, is greater than the ego, greater than the family, greater than the tribe, it is indeed, the call of the individual soul to transcend the group in order to find itself.

Once it able to do so, the Higher Realms, the Higher Teachers, will step in and start working with the soul in highest degrees.

Note that then the soul will have to walk this journey alone, yet will find that those who are on the same soul path will appear and be attracted into their lives, and they will recognize each other, by the invisible signs which are written into the soul, and not into the outward shell of the human body."

New data released yesterday shows one-in-five Australian households have purchased more alcohol than usual during the COVID-19 pandemic.

National polling by YouGov Galaxy, commissioned by FARE, shows that 20 per cent of Australians purchased more alcohol and of these households 70 per cent of them are drinking more alcohol than normal, with one third (33 per cent) now using alcohol daily.

โ€œAlcohol sales are up over the past month and while the alcohol industry wants you to believe that people arenโ€™t actually drinking that alcohol, this YouGov Galaxy research reveals the truth,โ€ said FARE CEO Caterina Giorgi.

If drinking is becoming out of control, just PM me and we can chat about how we can have you take care of your liver and your overall wellness ๐Ÿค™
