• Analysing clients’ behavioural patterns and environmental variable closely associated with these variables.

Position purpose The purpose of this role is to create individualized strategies for people with disabilities that are responsive to the person’s needs, in a way that reduces the occurrence and impact of behaviours of concern and teach functional skills to replace the behaviours of concern.
Main tasks

Core objectives include:

• Plan, implement and evaluate individual behaviour therapy programs
• Assisting clients in developing healthier thought patterns and behaviours
• Analysing clients’ behavioural patterns to diagnose mental health disorders
• Developing suitable treatment programs based on clients’ diagnoses
• Complete documentation in line with professional standards
• Work collaboratively with clients, families, support staff, and other allied health services
• Conducting standardised and non-standardised assessments and writing functional reports
• Identify and provide appropriate information and education to clients, families, support staff, and other allied health services

Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree or above in Behavioural Science/ Psychology/ Education / or practical training in Applied Behaviour analysis or equivalent
