🌟At just 8 years old, Kira Vuong from our junior netball group is a star on and off the court! Showing incredible compassion and generosity beyond her years, she has been growing her hair with the aim of donating the locks to charity to make wigs for children that have lost their hair due to medical conditions. On top of that she is also raising funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation to help bring a little joy to kids with critical illnesses.

Another big milestone was achieved against Athelstone a couple of weekends ago. 3x B grade Premiership player (2016, 2018, 2019), JOSH ‘BERG’ KEAIN, played his 200th game for the club.

Berg has been a big part of the club, not only as a dominant ruckman in the B and C grades but also as an integral part of our Executive Committee over 11 years as Secretary, Membership Coordinator, Social Director and Communications rep (no this post isn’t by him!).

The weather didn’t deter the cheer squad from coming out, including wife Hannah and daughters Eden and Matilda.

A great teammate and club man, we congratulate Berg on such a huge milestone 👏🏼

A huge day at Hartley Road today with our senior men hosting Athelstone from 10.15am onwards and the women away Hectorville. ❤️💛💙

We are celebrating Indigenous Round with a Welcome to Country prior to the A grade, where a win would see us move into 4th place on the ladder as we rapidly approach finals.

We also host no less than six junior netball 🏐 matches on our brand new courts, so expect a big crowd despite the early wintry conditions 💨🌧️!

Brew’d Up will be on site for your caffeine hit ☕️

Last Saturday 6 July MICK DEMANT became just the 10th player in Flinders Park history to reach the huge milestone of 300 games! 👏

Mick has been at Flinders Park since his junior days and is a four time Premiership champion of our club (2008 B grade, 2009, 2011 and 2019 C grade) 🏆 🏆🏆🏆 He has played at all levels throughout his career and was instrumental in his side’s victory in the milestone match too, booting 3 goals and providing a strong target up forward. A great teammate and a great family man, and we loved having wife Erin leading the cheer squad and daughter Marlow run out with the team on the day ❤️💛💙

We are currently seeking coaches for the U13 boys & U15 boys teams for season 2025.

We are seeking applicants with the following skills and experience;
• Strong leadership and ability to communicate with players, parents and the committee
• A commitment to attaining Level 1 accreditation. Level 2 Coach Accreditation desirable (potential for club support to achieve this)
• Develop and support FPFC coaching standards, philosophy and values
• Attend coaching workshops and education/information sessions
• A current Working with Children Check is required for all SANFL Junior coaches

Who doesn't love a playground! 🤸 Each year we renew a number of playspaces as part of our annual playground renewal program.

This means that we replace play equipment of similar size and play value, we seek to increase accessibility and inclusivity or we identify ways to add new tree. It's not an upgrade.

The following five playgrounds are scheduled to be renewed in 2024/25:

On Saturday we celebrated 1️⃣5️⃣0️⃣ matches for our favourite teammate and the boy born to play A grade football for Flinders Park, JAKE MACRO ❤️💛💙

Jake is always one of the hardest men on the field and quite fitting that he brought up the milestone covered in mud after being at the bottom of plenty of packs in Saturday's victory against Old Ignatians. He had his first taste of senior football back in 2016 while still a senior c**t and became a key member of our back to back reserves Premierships in 2018 and 2019, then was one of the first picked every week in our 2023 A Grade Premiership season 🏆 His ruthless attack on the ball and desire to win will no doubt see plenty more success in the future. Amazingly, Jake has clocked up 150 at just 24 years old too - could his father Wayne's 400 game family record be in trouble?!

Today our Junior Footballers donned a blue arm band in remembrance of Sam Davis and to increase awareness about changing community attitudes toward violence. FPFC is proud to be involved in the Sammy D Foundation Violence Prevention Round.

We were lucky to have Brigid Koenig, CEO of the Sammy D Foundation, join us at our U10 game against Goodwood Saints Football Club, where both teams united to support Violence Prevention round.

Together, we’re saying ❌ to Violence and YES ✅ to Mateship, proving that when we play as a team, we all win!

Nic played in our 2011 Premiership before spending 10 years at SANFL level with South Adelaide, and has been a huge part of our recent successes since returning. He was a star in our drought breaking Premiership last year, taking out the Division 3 GS Heard Medal 🥇 as the competition’s most brilliant player. He offers plenty of leadership and guidance to our young squad and is an absolute pleasure to have around the club. Great to have partner Amber and their daughters Winona and Elinor cheering him on to another ‘Best in Ground’ performance last week in the milestone match ❤️💛💙

We are hugely proud to welcome another 3️⃣ former Flinders Park juniors to our A grade ranks over the past two weeks ❤️💛💙

#14 Oscar Tayleur made an immediate impact and was our first best against Salisbury North. A solid key defender and our 2023 reserves Best and Fairest, his strength in the contest was critical on the day when he won most of his one-on-one battles in the air, and when the ball hit the ground his pace was too much for his opponent.

#15 Dash Hawley provides the excitement and ‘X’ factor that every forward line needs. A high flying young star that has already played A grade in the country, his defensive running and pressure against Salisbury North stood out to our coaching group. On Saturday he backed that performance up with moments of absolute brilliance and a match winning 4 goals to be named second best in just game number two.

#29 Noah Baker has been plying his trade with West Adelaide this year, with strong performances in their under 18’s and a first reserves match under the belt. His strength and power was irresistible at training last week, and he slotted in perfectly to our forward line and on the wing. Noah has strong family ties to the club with dad Tim a well respected Life Member, and capped off a great debut with a well celebrated first goal.
