Slightly sad isn’t it?

:To all the mothers,
Every day they need you just a little bit less.
And that’s the hardest part.
You will sleep through the night again one day.
You will get your evenings back.
You will be able to use the bathroom alone.
You won’t hear “mom, momma, mommy” 300 times a day.
You will leave the house without arms loaded with coats, carriers, change bags, snack bags and toys.
You will go for walks without having to carry at least one small child and/or their scooter most of the way.
Your clothes will no longer be coloured with baby sick and random food or art stains.
You won’t waken up with small children in your bed.
You won’t have to ask “can I breastfeed in it?” When choosing your outfit.
Your children will learn to fall asleep on their own, to put on their own shoes, to wash their own hands. They will learn to stop crying without needing a cuddle, to read themselves a bedtime story, to brush their own teeth.
And I promise us this… we will miss all of it."
