Showcasing talented artisans working with Mother Nature.Sharing Family and Homeschooling adventures. Hello Wildoils Community we have some exciting updates.......we are getting ready to hit the road very soooooon!........What a wild ride we’ve had over the past few years......LIFE altering changes. Let alone becoming parents to 3 rainbow wildlings “any quack” as my son would say, we are welcomin
Do you do regular wellness check ins? As a family we do. We chat and discuss any needs or concerns, we openly share our feelings and create space for questions. Usually this sparks interest to increase our knowledge or we use this time to celebrate growth and honour the journey. It has became a safe place for our wildlings to be heard, as my middle child says “there’s no wrong or right questions, only growth?” Haha the mind of a 7yr old 😆

What an honour to work in this space ☺️
Yesterday we ran our second Boys Space. A space originally requested by one of the children who had watched his Mother attend Women’s Circles and “come back happy”. 😍
We provided the space for the boys to come together, under the guidance of two teen mentors.
The workshop was planned BY the teen boys. I just observed. And reflected. And LEARNED!
Bronnie () and I were there to observe, offer guidance, safety etc. Alongside a lovely visit from 🙏🏻
But my biggest observation?? The quiet!!
Few words. Lots of movement.
Like an Exhale.
In fact, I saw a lot of the boys just RELAX. Like a load taken off. No pressure to be anything.
There are very few spaces where children can just be children. And just follow their internal compass. Which I’m convinced is incredibly wise.
The boys move with a communication beyond the verbal. I want to say it’s the way birds fly in formation?! Or maybe like waves in the ocean. A naturalness to the sense of group.
I saw a sense of quiet belonging. Recognition. Relief.
We did hold a sharing circle (that was MY plan NOT the boys 😂 but they were fine to go with it).
The boys shared what it’s like to be a boy….
Their words:
-People think you are always the one to blame
-People think you are noisy
-People think you break things
- It’s weird that people wear T-shirts that say “Girls Rule the World”?? What does that mean?
-People think boys lie
-Mum thinks I’m not listening but I don’t know I’m not listening
-Boys get told what to do because they move around more (than girls).
-I’m worried when I grow up that I have to work to look after everyone
I WILL say the questions the boys raised didn’t carry the energy of “chauvinism” - more curiosity and bafflement…as to WHY is it this way?? Why IS it this way? 🤯
Stay tuned for our upcoming Mother & Son session created in collab with and . (Register your interest for the Mother & Son event via Tara Aldridge at [email protected])
And until then, if you want more helpful info in supporting boys please check out the work 🙏🏻
Please share with a boy mum you know. Collectively we can change the way we see and therefore treat our boys ♥️
This is a long time coming…… a little post to say hi and let you know we are still here, here…..deep in life, in the trenches, in the joy and wonder, in the grief and letting go…….we are here deep in growth and transformation.
Over the last 2 years 😉 our love for life has been tested, shattered, and slowly rebuilt. Sooooooo much letting go and standing in truth, while allowing the humbleness of life to fill us again.
My biggest focus has been repairing our hearts, trusting, creating safe spaces for us to be, to breathe, and to allow our spirits to connect and be playful…oh how we’ve grown.
Our Story
Announcement CLOSING DOWN 31st JULY
As some of you are aware over the last two years our focus has been on our kiddies, family and individual wellness journeys....it’s been a bit of a roller coaster, full of heartbreak, transformations and awaking’s and lots of slowing down and breathing 😉
So far we’ve successfully (with a few hiccups, delays & set backs) kept Wildoils active since opening in 2014 - busy designing, marketing, showcasing and supporting local artisans working with recycled and sustainable timbers. it’s been a wild journey, we’ve had so many lessons infused with absolute joy and wonder. This has been one of the hardest choices we’ve had to make 😢
SO with a sad and grateful heart we will be officially closing WILDOILS at the end of this month, 31st July 2019. All outstanding box orders currently in production will still go ahead on schedule and all FUTURE ORDERS can now be placed directly through our girl Lauren Insta @thelostfox or ps://www.facebook.com/The-Lost-Fox-430620597772546/
❤️THANK YOU to all the artisans we’ve had the pleasure of working with, it’s been a magical journey working and connecting with you all, you will remain forever in our wild hearts.
❤️ And a big big thank you to the greater aromatherapy community and especially to the dōTERRA FAMILY we got to know so well, your love and support will never be forgotten 😘
❤️ Also a shout out to all the souls we INSPIRED along the way to start their own businesses creating boxes, displays and EO accessories 🥰
🔆 The GOOD news is we will still be keeping Wildoils Facebook and instagram alive with many EO, family & lifestyle inspirations, including showcasing local artisans, with a few giveaways to share.
