April is Rosacea Awareness Month! Subject very close to my heart as I have been suffering this disease the last 10 years. Every case of rosacea is unique. It’s presentation can vary substantially from one patient to another. Signs and symptoms of rosacea may include: persistent redness, skin thickening, flushing, bumps and pimples, visible blood vessels, eye irritation, burning or stinging, swelling, and dryness. Rosacea is very complex and requires internal as well topical approach. I can’t highlight enough the importance of using the right skin care products when it comes to managing rosacea. How to stay on the top of your hyperpigmentation:

✨Schedule regular monthly treatments, my favorite modalities to keep melanocytes under control include Vitamin Infusion, chemical peels and skin needling with correct settings! (You can achieve opposite effect if skin needling is performed not correctly)

✨Daily use of tyrosinise inhibitors and brightening agents: Vitamin C, Ferulic Acid, Azelaic Acid, Tranexamic Acid, Niacinamide, Glycolic Acid, Kojic Acid, Lactic Acid, Retinoids ~ prescribed depending on your skin type

✨Daily use of Spf, my favorite in keeping the pigment under control is .Australia tinted SPF 50+
