Sorcery and shamanism may use similar methods but have opposite intentions.
True shamanism acts in healing service to the whole or Tao.
Sorcery acts in self interest.
I remember in a workshop Serge Kahili King saying that in Hawaii there are no old sorcerers but plenty who look old.
