Check out what we got up to at The University of Adelaide last week as part of the NYSF STEM Hub! Throughout the day, we: 🔊 learned about acoustic engineering research to decrease the noise of a jet engine and visited an anechoic chamber (very quiet!); 🌕 drove a lunar rover in the Extraterrestrial Environmental Simulation (EXTERRES) laboratory; 🫁 learned what can go wrong with the human body with experts from the Vernon Roberts Pathology Museum; 🦷 learned about pathways in dentistry at Australia’s newest dental teaching hospital; and 🏆 discovered new research on how to uncover counterfeit items using laser technology!
