This was a fun event - when Peter Pap and I were pushing the 1987 NSR500 under the tunnel from the museum, as we came out of the tunnel, Rossi stopped on his scooter and went crazy and sat on the bike and asked for photos with his phone! Wayne was supposed to come in after a lap but didn't. He did about four laps or so, and when we all looked at the data in the garage, the HRC tech was blown away so was Erv Kanemoto as WG was only 2 or 3 seconds off the pace of the front guys! Wayne then got Biaggi in a play headlock and rubbed his head and said something like "Easy to ride Max so what are you complaining about?"
