We have had solid growth in solar over the past 7 years and expect the future demand for solar to only keep increasing. Our Team at Vision Energy are looking to expand and are seeking a trade qualified Electrician.

We provide a service to both residential and commercial clients both in the Gladstone Region and outside the Region.
This is a long-term opportunity for an Electrician to continuously learn and expand their electrical knowledge and skills within the electrical industry.

The right person will;
• Have a QLD Electrical License
• Have an Open Manuals Driver’s License
• Can work independently, multitask, and have great time management skills
• Full Australian working rights
• Have good communication skills
• Have a personal commitment to safety
• Physically fit

We have an open mind for this role. You may already be in an electrical-based role and are looking to work in a smaller team. You may be looking for career progression within a supportive environment. You may also be recently qualified or being signed off within the next few months.

The role:

• You will be based out of our office in Boyne Island
• Help identify our clients’ needs and providing solar solutions to suit
• Setting realistic goals and overcoming objections
• The opportunity to make this role your own
• Responding to incoming enquiries
• Quoting and following up leads
• Site visits
• Converting jobs and basic project management through to the installation
• Access to an attractive marketing package to utilise to create more leads

The right person;
• Will have a Car License
• Will be a people person
• Will have sales / customer services experience or come from industry
• Can work independently, multitask, and have great time management skills
• Will have strong motivation and take initiative
• Will be able to coordinate and project manage their sales from quoting to installation
• A solid understanding of sales principles or a sound level on how to drive sales is preferred but not essential
• Solar knowledge is advantageous but not essential

We have an open mind for this role. You may already be in Sales and want to expand your skills and raise your income. You may be from a Trades or Laborer background, have amazing people skills and want to get off the tools.
