Did you know that your air conditioners are still drawing power even when you are not running them. If you are not using your air conditioners over the cooler months, make sure you turn them off at their electrical isolator (located next to the outdoor unit) otherwise your air conditioner will continue to draw power the same as any other appliance in standby mode. With electricity prices set to soar next month, small changes like this can make a difference.

Another Cyclone Jasper Hot Tip - As the rain continues to fall outside, you may be noticing that the inside of your house is now starting to feel damp and sticky. If you are lucky enough to still have power, now is the perfect time to switch your AC’s to dry mode. Dry mode is normally indicated by a teardrop or water symbol on your AC remote control screen. This will help to remove humidity from inside your house.

Cyclone Jasper hot tip, Isolate your ACs to avoid power surge damage to your ACs. - To isolate your AC, Outside near the AC should be a switch similar to the photo, Switch that to the OFF position. Stay safe!
