Leana’s Celebrancy
Wedding celebrant - I create unique ceremonies to reflect who you are as a couple.
I have a relaxed approach with the aim of allowing you to enjoy each moment and create amazing lifelong memories.
Today Kev and Steph got married! At our final meeting last weekend we discussed the weather which was forecast as cold and stormy for today. Kev even considered purchasing some suit jackets for his groomsman. Instead of cold Melbourne weather that we have had enough of this year, summer finally hit hard. In fact it hit so hard today that the musicians photo overheated and then mid ceremony my iPad over heated. Lucky I had a hard copy backup of the ceremony script. I always have this but have never had to use it before. Wishing the charismatic Steph and Kev a fantastic celebration and happiest future together.

A Monday wedding you say? Indeed! Tomorrow is a public holiday after all.
Today the lovely Andrew and Emma tied the knot. It was a pleasure being the celebrant for such a kind beautiful couple. Even their gorgeous groodle, Archie made an appearance at the ceremony, or should I say after the ceremony in time for photos as he couldn’t quite be trusted to be around for the formalities.

Well you couldn’t ask for a nicer Melbourne winters day. The sun was shining and jackets not even needed for the beautiful Keisha and Greg. There were tears but that’s a known for Keisha. More importantly there were laughs. Wishing them the most amazing night celebrating.

A few photos of me getting ready for Sam and Susie’s wedding ceremony yesterday, curtesy of my dear friend Nader
Sam and Susie had quiet the entrance into the ceremony with the whole bridal party dancing down the aisle while throwing petals.
Refer to the last photo to witness just moments before I had to put an end to their kiss so the ceremony could continue 😂
Wishing them all the happiness, much movie watching and crazy times together.

The sweetest couple ever, Steve and Ash were just married. The rain threatened the ceremony and sprinkled momentarily before Ash walked down the aisle. Then the ceremony took place without a drop of rain, Ash and Steve smashed their wedding vows despite hating public speaking and then kangaroos frolicked about behind us. Wishing these two the happiest evening celebrating and a lifetime of laughs, joy and no public speaking.

When I’m not doing weddings I do this. Well not all the time. This is where I’ll be this afternoon after a day of adventuring.

So we all know I’m not the best with social media and I always forget to either take photos or post them. I promise to try and improve because I now have a backlog of photos (mostly professional ones sent to me by my couples…thank goodness for professional photographers).
Here’s one where I finally remembered to take a photo myself on the day with the lovely Tim and Sarah! I married them on Saturday 9th April at their ‘engagement party’. Yes, they had a surprise wedding and the uproar when I announced that it was actually their wedding was absolutely incredible! 14 years together and 2 adorable kids later, the love these two share is beautiful. Congratulations guys!

The places I go! This job is a dream come true and it even feels strange to call it a job. I get excited with every venue I travel to. Sometimes I even end up at private properties like this one.
Congratulations Dale and Harriet!
This gorgeous couple had their booked venue cancel on them and then ended up getting married on a friends property. I think the venue cancelling was a blessing because this was one of the most gorgeous wedding backdrops.

Today was a brilliant day for a wedding and I had the best time marrying the gorgeous Laura and Josh. There were tears, laughs and 2 very excited dogs as the ring bearers. I think we ended up finding Lilly after she decided to explore the grounds rather than hang out for the remainder of the ceremony.

A beautiful day for a wedding! Daylesford was vibing today but the best place to be was at the beautiful Megan and Johns wedding. There were tears but there were also many laughs. John and Megan’s story is goodie and they relived it today with family and friends. Unfortunately some couldn’t be there due to boarder restrictions and were instead sending their love from the UK.
I’m sure the celebrations for this awesome couple are going off right now.

My first wedding of 2022 was the beautiful Mia and Matt! With a slight hiccup and ceremony delay due to Matt forgetting the rings, once they arrived everything went off without a hitch. In actual fact, Matt forgetting the rings added some laughs to the day and ceremony..once of course the initial stress eased.
Mia and Matt also had a stefana (Greek crowning ceremony) incorporated which was absolutely beautiful.

Pebs and I are getting back into the planning meetings today. So excited to get things rolling again. Thank you to my couples for being patient while I try to fit you all in after being out of action due to the lockdown.
