Welllll, we teamed up with and opened our dream shop so we didn’t have to deal with the weather, the set up/ pack down and the travel that comes with markets.

August & Artisan is home to more than 40 makers across the Riverina and beyond. Trading 7 days a week, including late night Thursdays - you won’t have to wait for markets to get your fix of all things handmade 🙌🏼✨

We have no words on how amazing today was!! We can’t believe we pulled off this big of a market 😱🫢 with thousands of people (yes I did just say thousands!) braving the scary weather in the morning and our stall holders for sticking with us we want to thank you from the bottoms of our hearts without our handmade/small businesses community we wouldn’t be able to pull off an event like this 🩷

Did you know this is how Calf & Cow began?

Buying a sewing machine and making a few scrunchies to keep my mind busy while learning to live with severe anxiety.

After making some for myself, my sisters wanted some & so did some friends and work colleagues.

What I thought was just going to be a hobby to keep my mind occupied, soon became a growing business when my sister signed us up for our first market in May 2021.

Not believing we could just sell scrunchies at a market stall, saw us quickly sewing zipper pouches & heat packs.

And well, here we are now …
