We want to take this opportunity to appreciate our Darcy, a valued team member who has shown remarkable dedication and growth. Over the past 3 months, while working on our Yanco project, Darcy has truly pulled his shorts up and delivered outstanding results with our in-house concrete team, completing all concrete surrounds.

Darcy is not only an enjoyable fella to work with but also constantly strives to improve and learn. With his impressive performance and positive attitude, he has the potential to be our concrete team leader in the near future. Keep up the fantastic work Darcy! 👏

Did you know we Landscaped the whole of the new Signature Care Aged Care facility in Turvey Park. It was a mammoth effort with all hands on deck for months. But very well worth it. The grounds are amazing for the residents.

🎖PRO PATRIA UPDATE🎖

It's been a few weeks since we have had an update on our work with Pro Patria.
But boy has there been some progress. 😁
We have had the members pour the slab, and start with the frame and metal work for their new structure.
We have had a great turn out to each session with a lot of the members learning new lifelong skills.

We will update again once the structure is finished, we cannot wait to see the end result! 😍

Our Boys are making amazing progress over at YAHS. This has been a mammoth task 😅, we are nearly done and we are excited to show you the finished product, keep your eyes peeled 👀

Last week the Pro Patria members had a couple of Master classes with our in house teacher Gary! They learnt how to lay concrete, grind and weld. All in preparation for the pergola that they will be building at the Pro Patria site in Ashmont. We cannot wait to see the progress of the project 😍

The Erin Earth Rain Garden has officially started!

On Saturday Gary volunteered his time to make a great start on the Rain Garden. What a beautiful day to start demoing and marking out the area. We can't wait to see the progress.

Harley is our Machine Operator getting on the big rigs and moving all of our dirt around 🚛

He brings a positive can do attitude every day. He's got the skills on the machines and his attention to detail is spot on 👌

🪖PRO PATRIA CENTRE 🪖

Next in our series of helping our Community, we have teamed up with the Pro Patria Centre in Ashmont.

Over the next few weeks we will be helping some of their members design, plan and construct a new Pergola for their grounds, which will allow them to utilise the space to teach the art of forging and other metal work.

While it is being constructed the members will learn a myriad of new skills with the help of our staff. We cannot wait to see the progress of this exciting project.

Just like our other community project we will update with the progress.

On Friday some of our management team got out of the office and participated in the Sarah Lloyd Charity Golf Day at the Wagga Wagga Country Club. Our Director Adam and Operations Manager Andrew both won nearest to pin in the competition. Here they are with the sign that we sponsor on the 14th. Great day had by all! ⛳️

What is a Rain Garden? 🌱🌧

The other day we posted about our voluntary work with Erin Earth for their exciting new project.

Today we are going to touch base on what a Rain Garden is.

A rain garden is designed to capture and absorb rainwater runoff from roofs, driveways, and other surfaces. Preventing it from entering storm drains and polluting waterways. Typically, it consists of native plants and vegetation arranged in a depression or shallow basin. The plants and soil help filter pollutants, reduce erosion, and recharge groundwater.
The design involves considering factors like soil type, slope, and the types of plants that thrive in the local climate. Proper grading and drainage are essential to ensure water flows into the garden and is absorbed efficiently.

We have teamed up with Erin Earth to volunteer our time for an exciting new Rain Garden, which will be built at their beautiful grounds in Turvey Park.

Over the next few weeks we will have a series on the progress of this amazing project, as well as some information to explain what we are doing and how it is being done.

🧑‍🎓FOREVER LEARNING🧑‍🎓

At Creative Outdoors and more our Apprentice's are forever learning their trade.
Not only do our Apprentice's attend their Tafe courses we also have an inhouse Apprentice training program.

This week they were working on how to put fencing up correctly.

We put the time into our Apprentice's so they can produce the quality workmanship we are known for.

Fun fact about our business, as much as we love Landscaping, we LOVE to get into the big rigs and Earthmove as well.

We have all the equipment and the professionalism to complete big jobs like this one at Boorooma Service Station 🚛

👑A yard fit for little Prince's and Princesses!👑

Earlier this year our team completed a project for a Child Care centre in Bathurst.

With plenty of spaces to play and run around, we think this yard is perfect for the little ones.

What a great result from our team, their hard work certainly paid off!

Our golden shovel winner for April is Darb. Darb works in our sleeper and precast concrete yard.
