Bit of a rant post and also informative post but i dont feel like we should have to explain ourselves to anyone to justify any of the below.
Just wanting to reach out and inform all of our customers that we will not tolerate any form of abuse or be told what to do with our products and prices. We have a message from a "customer" telling us our prices are "a joke and wont be paying $25aud". If you feel like our prices are too much for you please feel free to move along.

This year is our first year in operation and we ran at a loss of $1,850 for the last financial year. That means we did not make any money in the first 6 months of this year. We spent more $$ on getting the business off the ground and getting our products out to you as the customer.
We set our prices to cater our cost of products plus 10% profit. At $25 per bottle we are only making $10 out of each bottle sold. It costs us $15 per 200ml to make. With the cost of products always changing we will never charge any more than the $25 per bottle no matter how much our produce cost raises. We are here to make a profit yes.

To make 1 single 11L batch it takes 8 hours we make 3 different batches. Thats 21 hours to make 33L.
I work a Full Time day job, i am a parent and also a student. So what spare time i have i spend making the sauces. I have commercial Customers who buy 20+ bottles at a time as well as customers who just buy 1 or 2 bottles. I spend on average 32 Hours a month trying to improve our products buy getting more flavours into our range, talking to suppliers and stockers.

As a business owner and operator we dont get days off we charge the prices we do and we thought that it was a reasonable price to charge.

We do accept feedback on how we can improve our products but we WILL NOT tolerate being told how to run our business and our costs.

Jacobs Hot Sauce staff are out of the office today at a marketing expo learning the art of Marketing, costs of advertising and customer engagement strategies. We are learning this to help bring you as the customer a better experience.

It has been a few days since our last post but just a little update. Due to supply and demand issues we are unable to take any more orders until the end of November at this stage. We do apologise for this inconvenience however it is out of everyones hands. I would also like to say that these issues are NOT any fault of suppliers, it is purely due to the quality of products that are available at this late stage in the season. We are hoping to be able to get a large amount of product as soon as we can. We will post updates as they come to hand. Again I am sorry to all those who have enquired about our sauce. For our Commercial Clients who have places orders already we will fulfill these orders however we will need to hold any further orders.

Just a bit if an update. We now have 72 bottles in stock and we ill be shipping out all current orders from today. We will advise when we are taking new orders again. We appreciate your patience and understanding of the situation.

We are currently looking into getting a Chilli Fest going for Wagga Wagga if this was to happen would you be willing to pay gold coin entry to have a look at the fest or $50 to enter a HOT WING competition (Prized to be worked out) with all proceeds going to helping put on a Chilli Fest every year. We would love to hear your feedback in the comments.

Another quick update for you, we have managed to order another 3 boxes of Reaper Chilli for our lovely Hot Sauce, once this arrives we will be making more batches of the Hot Sauce. We are hoping to be able to have enough product at all times for a maximum of 100 bottles.
