"During the first week of my work placement at Sherratt’s Plumbing, I attended TAFE as part of my School-Based Apprenticeship and Traineeship (SBAT). Typically, I work at Sherratt’s one day a week, but this placement allowed me to gain more hours and acquire additional skills. At TAFE, we focused on both theory and practical learning, covering topics such as Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and working with heights. In the second week, I got hands-on experience by installing pipes, putting in a hot water system, completing rough-ins, and cutting concrete to fix a pipe. Working with Sherratt’s Plumbing is an excellent pathway for me to become a Plumber Apprentice, and I love being part of this team!"

About the Role: We're in search of a highly skilled and experienced tradesperson who is driven by the prospect of career advancement and thrives in a culture of excellence. The ideal candidate will be a motivated individual responsible for maintaining onsite quality control, mentoring and supervising apprentices, ensuring compliance with all relevant Australian plumbing regulations, and contributing to the strategic growth of the company. Skills and Experience: To be successful in this role, you'll need to be a qualified plumber with a minimum of 5 years' experience, preferably within a small business environment. Hold a current full manual driver's license for Australia, along with relevant trade qualifications and plumbing certificates, is essential. Experience collaborating within a team environment, contributing to a positive work culture, and demonstrating reliability and punctuality are also key attributes we're seeking.

Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and self-motivated Office Administrator to join our team full-time. This role is ideal for someone enthusiastic and dedicated, seeking a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities
• Manage and run a team of 6 plumbers using ServiceM8 and Xero accounting software.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude.
• Manage incoming calls and emails, schedule jobs, and coordinate with the plumbing team.
• Handle stock management, order parts from suppliers, and track inventory.
• Manage Job costing, quoting, invoicing, and accounts receivable and payable.
• Trade administration experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
• You must be capable of thinking outside the box, prepared to research information and confident in making decisions.

Requirements
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly phone manner.
• Willingness to learn new software and other skills.
