Next week on Wednesday 2nd May at 7:00pm there will be a special general meeting held at the Wangaratta club on Victoria Parade, Wangaratta

All members old and new are welcome to be involved in this meeting where we will decide the direction the club will take into the future

The AGM will be on March 14th, at 7:30. The meeting will be held at North Wangaratta Football Ground. The ground is on the corner of Bowser and Detour rd, Nth Wangaratta.
All current members, new players and persons interested are welcome
We will use the meeting to discuss and decide on the future of the club

Just letting you know there is no volleyball this Wednesday because we are currently looking for a new home.

More bad news for everyone,

As most of you are aware, the WAVA has temporarily folded in hopes to relocate and find a new home since the numbers have dwindled below the level required to keep the season going.
With any amount of luck, the search will be short and we can continue as soon as next Wednesday.
Even if it takes longer than that, hang in there everybody we will be back in action as soon as possible.

Some very grim news, this week we are going to try and jumpstart the season, if we cannot get the numbers we need to sustain ourselves, then we will more than likely cancel this season and we may not start up again.
I hate to say it but this week is basically do or die for the WAVA

Update to our numbers, we have a total of 16 players so far, 6 polecats, 6 southern stars and 4 all stars,
Thats enough to start something, so everyone is welcome to have a hit next wednesday at our usual time and usual place
We need to get a move on otherwise we wont get any playtime before the end of the year

Hello Everybody,

I hate again to be the bearer of bad news but the volleyball season will not be starting this week, i will arrange with the YMCA to have another free sign up night.
Right now we only have 14 players, so if anyone can ask friends, family or work colleagues that might be interested please do so, otherwise this may be the end of the WAVA.

To whom it may concern, your drink bottle was left at volleyball on Wednesday. I will drop it off at the Barr reserve front counter on Sunday afternoon.

Hello Everyone,

The grand final has arrived, and will begin at the normal time of 7:30
As usual the game is the first to three sets with no time limit

The winners from the elimination finals will play off and both teams that will not be playing are expected for duty.

I have also been informed about an educational day mid July to teach young children about our sport, and we have been asked to join. Hopefully i will have more information by Wednesday.

D'amicos has been booked for all members after the game.

Finals time is here,

The games during finals do not run on a time limit, they are first to three sets no matter how long it takes. Both teams that are not playing are expected for duty due to extra roles needed in finals.

the times (Still starting at 7:30) are as follows

Game 1 Polecats V Southern Stars
Game 2 All Stars V Kamikaze

Unfortunately I will not be there this week due to working away, but i have left the keys to the filing cabinet and ball bin under some paper on top of the filing cabinet. Just leave them there for next week unless someone wants to hold on to them for a week.

A revised draw will be sent out within a few days, also this week is the absolute last where the registration fees will be at the cheaper price of $55 or adults and $25 for juniors. I urge captains to inform all of their members by Wednesday

In other news the format of games will not be changing due to a new team joining next week.
We will still need extra players to fill the missing spot this week
