After a very unexpected win in the Wedding DJ category for Albury Wodonga, Riverina and North East Victoria we're very excited for this year's awards.

Our last Wedding of the Australian season and boy, it did not disappoint! We made our way over to Mt Gambier for Sneha & Wishan's big day. The weather held off for the ceremony and most of the reception and a little sprinkle later on didn't bother anyone. Congratulations guys it was an absolute honour being part of your special day.

Wedding outside of the Border / North East? Not a problem! We will literally travel anywhere. This weekend we're in Mount Gambier for our last wedding of the season!

🐾 Wedding prep with a twist! Meet our purr-fect assistants, DJ Maxi and MC Mavis, helping us pack for the big gig! 🎧🎶 They're on the decks, spinning the tunes, while we're busy paw-ty planning! Who knew cats had such killer taste in music? 😹

Last weekend we provided Ceremony Audio equipment, equipment for an acoustic artist for Dinner and First Dance plus DJ'd the rest of the reception for Jess & Shan in Myrrhee.

Last Saturday was an absolute blast we provided music for the Ceremony and Reception at the most beautiful wedding! 🎶💍 From heartwarming vows to epic dance floor moments, it was a night to remember. Congratulations & ✨

What a great night complete with 80s & 90s, lots of Latin & Spanish hits. Even a few polish songs.

This weekend in four frames.
Friday night we donated our time and gear to DJ the Ladies Dance Party supporting the Centre Against Violence. Brooke & Jenny did an absolutely amazing job organising this and raised almost $4000 for CAV.
Saturday day - again we donated our time and equipment and provided music at the Wodonga Show - this was the first time it's run since COVID and from all reports it went very well.
Saturday Night - We DJ'd a football function at the Rules Club Wagga.
Sunday Morning - An early start and a quick turn around from Wagga. We provided multiple pieces of equipment and also performed Host/MC duties for the Wangaratta Marathon. Such a great day and well done to the team at the Chronicle for putting on a great event and Garry Nash Real Estate for sponsoring the day.

If you have a deep love for music, a burning desire to learn, and a dream of becoming a professional DJ, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. As a Trainee DJ, you will have the chance to work alongside experienced DJs, learn the intricacies of the craft, and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and exciting environment.

Responsibilities:
• Assist senior DJs in setting up and operating audio and lighting equipment.
• Learn to read and understand the crowd, adapting your music selection accordingly.
• Assist in creating playlists and organizing music libraries.
• Observe and learn different mixing techniques and styles.
• Support the DJ team in managing and troubleshooting technical issues during live performances.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for the audience.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, music genres, and DJing equipment.

Requirements:
• Passion for music and a strong interest in DJing.
• Basic knowledge of music theory and familiarity with different music genres.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions.
• Willingness to learn and take constructive feedback.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as DJing often involves performing during these times.
• Prior experience with DJing equipment or music production software is a plus but not required.
