It's Balance Awareness Week this week and I've just received the news I'm a finalist for the Amplify award for ❤️

I remember standing on stage at Hamer Hall supporting in 2019 and I leaned my head back to look at the people in the circles and I was smashed with vertigo. I was terrified but I was supporting one of my favourite artists on a dream stage and I didn't want to leave the stage. I took a deep breath and kept playing, the floor no longer existed below me and the room swung around in violent circles. Throughout the song at some point I managed to stabilise, I did everything I could to not give up/give in. Some days I do though, some days I have no choice. Playing music, watching music etc is a thing that triggers my symptoms and can also simultaneously help them pass. I'll keep pushing through it and advocating for better support in this industry for as long as I still find joy and love in it.
