Good start to the morning today. Removed a lot of the bulk from these three in my clients back yard. Lifted the height of everything (ruining the dogs hiding places) but creating a larger feel to the yard and giving it a chance to hopefully grow a bit more grass in place of the hanging branches.
Enjoy tonight’s sleep without the noise from the branches screeching on the gutter and roof.

Took the afternoon to get this big corner block all edged up nicely and cut back low ready for spring. Another nice low mow to take a heap more of the bulk out of it and it will look amazing 👌😊

Loved doing these English box hedges in Koroit today. All had gotten away a bit and were quite uneven in height and width. Have brought them back as far as I could this time to tidy up.

Yesterday afternoon started and finished a smallish job of marking and digging out the grass ready for pavers to be laid for a cat enclosure frame to sit on.
The idea was thought up by my client to stop
The grass runners growing up through the netting on the enclosure.

Bit of a pressure clean to wind up a late finish on Wednesday… Elderly client wanted the concreted surface and steps pressure cleaned to remove how slippery and dangerous they were becoming.
Came up really good considering the age of the driveway and concrete. Would have loved to get a nice bright dried pic but that wasn’t happening in this weather. Thank you for the business Ray 👌😊

Full big day yesterday cutting back and thinning a heap of neglected roses.
Roses had been left for some time and were overgrown and a complete mess! After cutting the roses back I have re-staked and stood the roses back up level and secured to the stakes.
I have to get a little bit better at taking more before pics before i get stuck into the work 🤦🏽‍♂️

Hopefully the biggest Yukkas I will ever have to deal with!!
Work completed over a couple visits.
These monster Yukkas had to be cut down, cut into small sections to load into a wheel barrow and taken up a skinny walk way to the front driveway and then loaded into trailer. It took quite some time but there was no other way.
It makes their yard look so much bigger. The stumps have been drilled out and and filled with a herbicide mix to prevent regrowth and hopefully eventually started to rot away.

BIG rose bush prune last Friday.
Perfect time of the year to cut back those rose bushes!
Carried out at a regular clients beautiful farm house garden, two small hedges and the rest of the roses were also cut back/re shaped. Thank you Roslyn 👌😊

So Much Grass!
Customer wanted the rear of their property cleaned up that backed to the highway. The water the space cut down and poisoned along their fence line to stop the grass runners coming through the fence and into their yard and garden. Grass was about waist height and so thick it could support your weight.
A lot of slashing and then mulching with the ride on. Was good to get the green machine out for a day in the beautiful winter sunshine we had Sunday.

A couple of sections completed over 2 days worked at a regular clients beautiful farm house garden.
A part of ongoing work until the garden and yard is back under control. 😊👌

Tuesday saw myself and my young lad tidy up a nice hedge running along the path to their front door. Added a shadow line at the maze of the hedge. Edged up the front lawn and nature strip and cut back low. Front lawn looks a bit off colour but needed to be done 👌😊

Large front and rear yard mow and edge on Monday. Occupant didn’t even know there was a brick path leading off the main path to the clothesline.

Was very happy to be able to shape up and tidy these beautiful hedges at an equally beautiful property today. Loving the end result 😎😊👌

What a transformation!! Spent the day of lovely weather outside working on this tidy up. Was uneven, full of weeds and looked terrible.
Weeds were poisoned a couple weeks ago to aid in easier removal. Removed high spots and filled in low ones. Cut down drain pipe and replaced grate at stone level. Now ready for pots or planting by the client.
Used a 20mm Malabar stones.

Took the new guy out on a corner block mow and edge job today to see if he’s as good as he says.

As part of a very big garden clean out and cut back for a regular client, as garden beds are weeded the client has requested for mulch to be put down.
Really tidies everything up. I love working on this garden.

Great morning on the tools today. Grass was overgrown, thick and in desperate need of an edging and big cut down.

First half of today I tackled a very long Pittosporum along a boundary fence. Customer asked for a lot of the height to be taken off and the sides cut back a little.
Took it down to around gutter height of their house and it came up great.

Yesterday I was lucky enough to work on some beautiful box hedges, have been left for a while and customer wanted to start to bring them back into the shape they once were.
I took a bit of this time and then more once they need doing again.

Great day on the pressure cleaner today!! Smart move by Glenda and her husband to get the concrete and paved areas pressure cleaned before the wet weather is here. After pics still had a few spots left to dry off but came up really well 😊👌

Bit of a heavy front yard revamp today, brilliant day 👌. Customer asked for the front yard to be cleaned right up and said she’d just like to be able to use the front door…. Not too much to ask surely?
Everything was cut back pretty hard, but the perfect time to do it, will bounce back very nice. I look forward to working with you on other potentials ideas discussed in the future.
