so we were out for hours yesterday , nothing went to plan ….😂 but 8 shooting stars and hours later I saw Winnie , my fur baby saying hello from beyond ❤️

Catching the last light of the day

Sombrero galaxy - Estimated to be as massive as a billion Suns, it's one of the heftiest black holes in the neighboring universe.
430 shots stacked & processed in Siril/PS , about an 1.5 hrs worth ......one day I'll make it a few nights worth with a longer zoom ...

Amazing what graffiti you can see from the above that you walk over and don't notice .....Lake Tyrrell ....love it anytime of the year

Something I finally had time for ...a play with the telescope.
The Rosette Nebula NGC2237 is in a h-II region, a star forming region with clouds of gas and dust. At a deistance of about 5000 to 5200 light years and a diameter 130 light years, it appears relatively large in the sky, about 80-60 arc minutes .The mass of the nebula is estimated at around 10'000 solar masses.....
Will be doing more when I can - the night sky is amazing especially in bortle 2 regions - this was in Princetown near 12 Apostoles .
