More evidence that the Illawarra coastline will lose its whale migrations season permanently. Chris bowne ans allison. Byrnes like to lie to their constituents and say trust us but the more we find out about this Illawarra coastline wind fsctory the more we realise the destrcution it will do to our prestine coastline our reefs our marine life our whale migration season and whale watching and marine life will be impacted adversely thwt there is no doubt
this the Wollongong and shellharbour wind factory will be the world's closest to shore the world's tallest the world's largest a world first in sub tropical waters off a prestine coastline thst has some forty thosuand whales that migrate along the south coast Illawarra coastline of nsw
So he fsct tha for jsut ten km off our beaches with over three hundred plus turbines up to 385 mtres tall each and the fact they are floating so three hudnred turbines will require thousands of steel chains to anchor hudnreds of turbines to the seabed these steel chains wil create a labyrinth of steel chains needed to anchor hundreds of turbines to the seabed will kill our whale migration season and whale watching and marine life destroy our reefs. The fact that thousands of tonnes of gravel will need to be dumped on the sea floor the seabed on top of the seabed vegetetion that over one hudnred speices of local fish that live and breed off Wollongong feed off destroying their food source then ontop of the seabed vegetation the gravel that will need to be dumped on the vegetation will be three hundred concrete slabs one for each turbine will totally destroy the seabed vegetation that our fish marine life feed off this will totally destroy our prestine coastline and its many and varied marine life and reefs that we currently enjoy in our
Subtropical waters known as the Wollongong coastline and all for what the labor party and the greens trying to justifY this sea destrcution ocean destrcution coastline destruction destroying our Illawarra coast killing our marine life destroying our seabed vegetetion destoying our commercial fishing industry and killing our tourism operators all for what to power the steelworks no benefit to locals just benfits the steelworks that's still burns coal to make steel bu**er off labor and take your wind farm with you. They belong on land not on our prestine coastlines like the Illawarra coastline
Bluefloat have made it clear wind turbines like those proposed for the Illawarra coastline with the large numbers of turbienes ar four hundrdd turbines the tallest and claoest to shore in the world as proposed for the Illawarra coastline four hundred wind turbines at 300 mtres tall each only ten km off shore with a give km exclusion zone leaving only five km for fishing boating commercial fishing off Wollongong lga and shellhabrour lga will harm and kill marine life bird life sewl. Colony on the five islands off Wollongong and all undersea vegetation will be destoeyed that fish feed off. Tje siesmic sounds from the wind farm will har.m whales this ahs bewn confirmed from Blufloat. This can no longer be denied bluefloat has confirmed this plus the massive land grab required for the onshore infrastructure is outrageous the closure and fencing off of public beach areaa public parklands and parts of lake Illawarra will be off limits to locals and visitors tourists no longer can we use the lake like we do now there will be off limit areas and unsightly wind turbines infrastructure for all to see giamt cables on our beaches parks and lake thar Bluefloat has confirmed this we will not stand for is the loss of public spaces public beaches and full access to the lake Illawarra Alison Byrnes MP Stephen Jones MP Chris Bowen MP Tanya Plibersek Illawarra Greens Illawarra and World Wide whale and sea life sightings. Its important to get a balanced view not one sided BS by the politiicans .its what the locals want that should matter to all parties this is OUR coast not yours. If we dont want this gigantic wind farm on our coast then politicians muat listen to us they need to listen to us the people it should be OUR decison not theirs qe the locals have unvrsted our lives into this region why cant poltiiciansn admit they are wrong and it goes against the wishes of the majoirty of the poeple and cann this project cancel it. Its not what the comunity want putting the worlds largest tallest biggest closest to shore wind turbines in Wollongong and shellharbour coastline just ten km off shore with a five km exclusion zone leaving only five km for fishing boating commercial fishing and recreational for locals. This is our coast and we sat NO. We moved here to the coast to enjoy a seachange living on the coast for its natural beauty a sea change and now this
labor govt wants to turn our coast into an industrial wasteland a coastal graveyard of four hundred rusitng oil seeping gigantic turbines with a limited lifespan that will rust and seep rust into the ocean seep oil from its motors into the ocean kill marine life and bird life of which Bluefloat has now admitted will happen politicians cannot deny this any more cannot ridicule us any more Bluefloat has admitted that harm will come to our coast harm will come to our marine life harm will come to our whales birds seal colony and undersea living creatures will be harmed. Labor cannot deny this fact anymore not even with a smear campaign by the local labor politicians and the local baised unethical local media in the form of abc Illawarra and the loca union lovin newspaper that have shown their one sided bias from day one always towing the labor party line and the voice of the local unions who are behind this and ignoring qnd ridiculing g local community voices and concerns well the community has now been validated by one of the comapnys bidding to be a provider of these turbines Bluefloat the four hundred turbines the tallest largest ocean wind farm in the world off Wollongong prestine coastline and the closest to shore ocean wind farm in the world at just ten km from our beautiful prestine beaches where we watch our whales go past the water quakity of our beaches will end up being the worst of anywhere in this counrty as no where else are so many wind turbines proposed are sob close to shore must affect our water quality for our beaches . Our water quality will be the worst totally polluted from these turbines so close to shore
There will be days we won't be able to swim in our beaches make no mistake a fact local politicians will never mention its only now that Bluefloat is letting us know. Fancy going to the beach the water quality is so bad that the beach is closed due to the turbines affecting our water quality on our coastline just ten km off shore
The lies of labor the secrecy of labor the unions and local media and politicians to keep this all from us. Keep the population dumb and dumber. Labor can bu**er off take your wind farm to Sydney's northern beaches we don't want it here on the south coast of nsw in the Illawarra region.never Wimd farms belong on land not on oceans not on prestine coastlines like the Wollongong coast and shellharbour coast on the stunning breathtaking south coast of nsw too beautiful to destroy with thousands of whales that grace our coastline ever season all to be destroyed .NO No

Last day to fill in the federal govt submission form. Say no to the worlds lqrgesr wind turbine graveyrad off the prestine south coast of nsw waters off Wollongong and shellharbour lga. Bluefloat one of the companies behind the four hundred wind turbines graveyard admits bird life will die from the four hundred wind turbines they will become mince meat thru the four hundred sets of baldes each the size of a football field each set if blades as the wind turbines are in the flight path of thirty different bird species that fly along the Illawarra coastline. Labor minsiters have know about this and kept it from the Illawarra public and dismissed us as scaremongering when it was the truth all along. The greens MP Mithra Cox, Greens dismissed me personally as scaremongering qnd telling fibs two months ago so now bluefloat has admiited birds will die form its fpur hundred sets if blades rhe size of football fields each what does the City of Wollongong councillor say now that she has been found out. will the greens politicians councillors be dismissing Bluefloat as well
