Can anyone guess what I’m working on?
For the last week solid I have been making face masks constantly every spare minute. But today I’m working on a special custom order and I’m probably going to cry when I have to part ways.

Since posting these triple layer 100 % cotton face masks to a few local pages this morning I have been swamped.

They are made with top quality tightly woven quilters cotton. Feature a wire moulding over bridge of nose for good seal. Include a filter pocket on inside so that you can insert your own filters. Elastic that goes all the way around head and can also do ear elastic if preferred. Tonnes of fabrics to choose from.
Please note they are not medical grade but are a good design that is preferred by many American hospitals when medical grade are not available.

Why do I love to crochet?
Since I was about 8 years old I have very fond memories of sitting with my mum and she would show me how to make granny squares. Ever since then it has been something that I have loved. The rhythm of the yarn over under, over under i find so relaxing and so calming. And it has been something I have turned to in times of stress throughout my life.
I feel a special connection with my mum since she is no longer here on earth when I’m crocheting. I have recently started crocheting some special items for my little girl and it has really made me so happy seeing her wearing my creations.
Here she is wearing the adorable from it’s definitely a favourite to be passed on to the next generation

Have you tried crochet?
One of my absolute favourite creative outlets is crochet. I have been doing a lot lately. Looking back through some of my pictures and found this beauty. I made this as a sample for to show off the absolutely gorgeous Heirloom Yarn 8 ply cotton. I have used a lot of different cotton yarns but this is definitely one of the very softest.
Pattern of this blanket is the . Terrible name, particularly at the moment , but one of my favour patterns to stitch.

It’s been a little quiet from me on the socials front because if I’m honest, this whole change in the way we live has really thrown things upside down in our house.
With a 7 month old and nearly 3 year old routine is everything. I’m a creature of habit and playgrounds and catch ups in the morning have been our favourite thing for as long as I can remember so it’s been interesting.
Behind the scenes being creative definitely helps me stay sane. I have been busy creating some new designs including these gorgeous 20mm studs in rose gold. I will have a bunch of new ones added tomorrow and Friday but only have very very limited amounts as i trial their popularity with you my customers.
