On Thursday at work we are doing a fundraising bake sale for the rspca and thanks to cookidoo I have added everything that I need to my woolies cart to be click and collected on my home from work on Wednesday and scheduled all my recipes to be made when I get home from the shops!

QUESTION...... For those who bake cookies, do you normally let your mixture sit foe a while before baking it?

I can already tell this is going to be one of those recipes that gets put on repeat in our house..... so quick and easy to. Easy to do with or without a thermi! If only smellavision was a thing!

I've never really been a smoothie or even a breakfast gal but I'm trying to introduce more water into my diet (through eating and drinking) so I thought I would give the smoothie cubes from the THMIV!!! Wack 4 frozen cubes in with 200g of water, wizz for 1minute on speed 9 and WAM BAM THANKYOU MAM.

This one is called 'sunrise' it's got mango,garlic,ginger,carrot and coconut cream it! But there is also a chock banana and a Berry one that I would like to try aswell!

Maybe thisafternoon I might add a bit of vodka, see how I feel ;)

Here's a post that's actually not about food! Well it's about food storage so I guess it actually is right, anywhos...... obviously with there only being Josh and Myself in the house I freeze alot of leftovers, but I use all my containers freezing meals so I'm sure you will all feel my excitement when I tell you I picked up these 5pack of freezer safe/microwave and dishwasher safe containers for just $14 each at woolies!
Adulting can be pretty fun sometimes......Walk don't run my friends!!!

The last few nights have been fakeaway for us....... pictured on the left hand side I whipped up some mushy peas in just 20minutes to have with our hot dogs and then on the right hand side I made a batch of pizza dough and let it prove in the fridge all day whilst I was at work so I could make us a pizza when I got home from work at 5pm.
How bloody good are quick easy dinners!!!

Have I ever mentioned that one of the main reasons I love my thermi so much is that I can control and know exactly what is going into my body? This caramel iced coffee frappe is so easy and delicious!!!

Excuse the messy dish but my partner had his first night shift last night, I was quite lost after I had friends over for dinner to keep me company and they had left, so I decided at 10pm after a dash to the shops that I would whip up the Chicken and Mushroom lasagne (SkinnyEntertaining, thanks Nikalene Riddle ) for dinner tonight so all I had to do was cook it thismorning before work and then reheat it at 5 when I get home!!!

Last night I made the boy and I rice pudding for our work lunches, all I did was Chuck some rice, milk, vanilla essence and sugar in the thermi set the temp to 90° for 50 minutes and WAM BAM I'M A FAN, no standing at a hot stove stirring required..... plus there's no egg, cream, emulsifier or vanilla bean seeds in this one!

The first picture is the nutritional value of the twisted sister rice pudding from woolies and the second picture is homeade thermi rice pudding!

If you asked me to choose one thing I love about having 2 thermomixes, my answer would deffinately be that I am able to eat better and know exactly what's going into my food!!!

I didn't use the cookidoo rice pudding recipe as it has egg in it and I have a bit egg white intolerance so I used a recipe community recipe that has no egg!!

I love myself a good costco meat shop!!! $120 worth of meat divided up using my thermi scales, here's what I got out of all of it...... and the pork still has to be cut up into 2! I think we are set for a few weeks :)

We have a coffee machine and frother but I find it so time consuming as the frother only fits one cup of milk but i need 2 so I use my thermi and its so much easier!! 3minutes, 70° at speed 3 and wallah!!!!

Plus you can change the milk temp to whatever you want!

Do you know that the thermi grinds whole coffee beans to?

I just love how you can cook different recipes manually in the thermomix...... This skinnymixers chicken bacon spaghetti is to die for and it only takes 27minutes from start to finish!!!!

Finally got around to making white choclate fudge yesterday and it deffinately didn't disappoint!!!!

Out of the two bbqs I've been to in the last 2 months I've taken a delicious cheesecake from Create Bake Make both times!!! Create Bake Make has some bloody delicious recipes written in thermomix language...... not everything requires cookidoo!

Did you know this mac and cheese has pumpkin,zucchini sweet potato and carrot in it? Blended up so small the kids will never know!!!

How good is a nice fresh healthy pumpkin and ginger soup....... not only super healthy but great for the immune system and made in just 35minutes!!!

Ok so as I picked up my click and collect this morning I thought to myself... 'geez If only I could get away with a $50 grocery (not meat) shop every week! But let's face it with the way the price of everything is going up and the fact I don't have any little cherubs yet I'm pretty sure that's not going to happen...... it will be pretty close though I think Why do i think that and how do i keep my grocery bill so low???

Well I'll tell you! I BROUGHT A THERMOMIX!! yea they are a bit pricey but I tell ya I've saved that amount 3 times over I pizza, jar sauces, gravies, cakes, scones, yoghurt you name it in the single 1 year ive owned one!!!

Oh and I have 53 rolls of toilet paper, 8rolls of hand towel, 3 disinfectant spray, 3 dishwasher detergents and a few litres or bodywash in our spare room but that's beside the point!

Moral of the story......
Jade is not the sharpest tool in the shed but she made a more health concious and smart move by buying a thermomix, be a Jade:)

After working up a sweat washing the car and cleaning the bathroom I whipped myself up a quick iced coffee in just a minute )by the the time I got the glass out of the cupboard milk out of the fridge and a shot of coffee from our trusty delonghi) spotted the baileys in the fridge and thought why not!!!

Don't mind my slightly overcooked bread, i grill likes to pick sides and cook that side better than the other.... but holy crap this Skinnymixers Country chicken & vegtables is scrum-didlee-umcious!!!! So good that my 32yr old child actually complimented it and gave me permission to cook it atleast once a week, not that I need his permission!

Fresh homemade ANZAC biscuits! 7 ingrediants, 10minutes preparation, 30minutes in the oven and hellllllo my pretties!

I may have went a bit overboard with the date syrup but the caramel frappe from the THMV is bloody amazing regardless!! Its dairy free, gluten free,nut free,egg free, paleo friendly, freezer friendly, low carb, low fodmap and vegetarian. Chuck in the 4 ingredients, blend for 30seconds and WHAM BAM THANKYOU MAM!
