With everything that has happened post referendum, it's important to reach out and reconnect. Finding what heals your soul and begin the healing journey. Change is glslow and gradual, just as the sand beneath my hand was once shells and rocks, it has taken time and constant effort to get to this. Stay honest, keep advocating, be kind to yourself and our mother earth.

How many have seen this beauty whilst driving near Tamworth (NSW). I am so proud that this billboard is still up and sharing the knowledge of being on Kamilaroi country. Thank you for your continued support with this project.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out this morning. While this is a disappointing time in our country's history it is not the end of the struggle and fight for recognition of our people. Im very honoured and proud to be able to say I made my voice heard and that those around me echoed my call. I'm grateful to all of my friends and family who took the time to have respectful conversations about the referendum and weren't swayed by the scare tactics of the No Campaign.
We have been fighting for 122 years since 1901 of trying to be heard and acknowledged in this country's founding document. We are still here. We have always been here. We will continue to be here. There is still work to be done. 🖤💛❤️✊🏼

I voted today. I voted with my heart, with my head, with the 70,000+ years of ancestor bloodlines, I voted with passion, with courage, with hope and with every ounce of my being. I voted for a voice, a voted for a tiny change in a colonial system that has oppressed and suppressed first nations peoples for over 250years. I voted yes because I know the freedoms I have today are from those who sacrificed so much of who they are. I voted yes because I want Australia to be a better country, I want a country that is proud to be home to the worlds oldest continuing living culture (let that sink in for a minute).
I am burning out culturally, with so many asking for my opionion/approval on this referendum. If you don't know, stop being lazy and educate yourself. It's exhausting to constantly advocate and educate people on your very existence, and why my own future in this country matters.
This is just my opinion and my own experience. I speak for no one else. But we have a chance to really make a difference and take a step in the right direction. So today, I voted yes.

This can be a heavy time for our mob. Please be respectful ✌🏽✊🏼🖤💛❤️

This place is just magical at sunset. Huge shout out to Maxwell The Studio for these amazing photographs of my work! It's so awesome to have my artwork in such an innovative space and pure wonderland for little booris to play in.

I just love these colours! There's something so magical about this time of morning. When everything is calm and quiet. It's like the gentle touch of the sky to the land to say it time to rise and begin a new day.

Still loving the piece that was commissioned for Transport NSW. This was developed as a 'live digital artwork' which meant I was able to create it on the spot during a strategy planning session over a 6hr period.

Our country and our water hold so many stories for our mob. It's important to take some time out and reconnect with these stories. Feel mother earth under your feet and acknowledge all her beauty.

I love working with Taylor Construction on this commissioned NAIDOC artwork. Every year, we add a little something to the previous year's work, which highlights the ongoing commitment and respect for our mob.

A digital artwork commission for ReachOut Australia. Im so excited for this to pop up on important material to help promote mental health and emotional well-being messages to our young people. Our future Elders.

Spent the last few days creating a mural for Newington Public School in Sydney. Just a little snippet of this massive wall. So excited to post photos of the finished piece. Watch this space!

So proud of this moment. A few years back I was commissioned to do some artwork for Western NSW Local Health District. Last week, the Remote Mobile CT service was announced in Walgett Multipurpose Service. The ground-breaking service will begin welcoming patients in the coming weeks, and is expected to see around 1,500 per year as it rotates between Walgett, Bourke and Cobar. How deadly is that!

So, yesterday, I was able to capture both my Fire + Rescue and artist careers. I had done this artwork a few years back, which also features on the "Flyer" firetruck at City of Sydney Fire Station. It now sits proudly on the training building at the Emergency Services Acedemy in Orchard Hills. Im so proud to be a part of both communities.

Over the last 12months I have been involved in some amazing things. But, working with young, resilient, ambitious, heart-warming and just down right legendary first nations people has been a highlight. This artwork was part of a workshop we did at the start of the year. Everyone developed what I have now coined as a "legacy symbol". Something that they've created that reflects the things that are important to them. I have had the privilege of using these as the background motif in this artwork. It has been an absolute honour and I cant wait to see what this artwork produces.
I look forward to revealing the caretakers of this wonderful creation shortly.

Another variation of this artwork! I love the colours in this and was inspired during the World Pride festival. It's important to keep experimenting and trying new colours, textures, patterns, and placement. This will soon be available for purchase on the new JSKD website in both A3 and A4 sizes. There will be more variations to come, so watch this space.

Working on some new artwork prints that will be available for purchase! I love the simplicity of a monotone artwork, I'm still very much in love with using coastal banksias and grevilleas, eucalypt leaves and symbols of place and people. They are all symbols of home for me....

Sometimes, just starting is the hardest part. I'm so appreciative of the process of being creative. There's really nothing quite like it when you can step back and see the wonder that's come out of your own head. A millennia of ancestor's stories and creativity flow through me. ...

My artwork is my way of storytelling. JSKD Workshops give me the opportunity to share that process and take participants along for the ride. Experiencing the creativity of others as we journey through the workshop outcomes is such a reward for me as a First Nations artist. Looking forward to doin many more this year...

I was fortunate enough to win the BreastScreen NSW Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Artwork competition in 2022 which led to the collaboration and development of 'Biyani'.

Within this work, I really wanted to highlight the importance of not only the role women play in the family and community but also the access available to health services and supporting each other in accessing those services.
