Short video of rebated jamb and cutting the top hinge out. Moving from cutting out the door hinges to the jamb, there is no adjustments to the router or any fence. It’s in the template! It allows for the 2mm difference in hinge backset,so the door clears the rebated jamb when closing without binding. There is a little more to this template, it’s not just for the hinge cut out.
