For anyone who needs to hear it. It’s more than okay if you’re not riding your horse right now, or if you’re not going to ride at all. Riding is not the only way to enjoy your horse, maybe you want to take them for walks and train on the ground, or maybe you just want to watch them be horses.

You are not “wasting” them in the paddock, they do not “need” to be ridden. So long as they are looked after, that’s what counts. Forage to chew on, Friends to interact with, and Freedom to move and play.

Enjoy your horse, whatever that looks like for you.

A bit about myself!

I am not a rescue organisation or profit off rescuing/rehoming dogs, it’s actually quite the opposite at times.
I do this as a hobby to play my part in helping the issue we have with pets being homeless with the help of local rescue groups supporting me. I’ve decided to start a page to post updates of dogs placed into their new homes and thoes who are available for adoption in the future.

Some circumstances people have approached me as their living situation has changed and unfortunately the dog had to be rehomed.
Since 2021 I have rehomed 18 dogs, 6 being on death row. I still get updates on how they are travelling in their new homes! I try my best to find the best suitable home for the dog/puppy and offer a 3 week trial period as an extra step to make sure both owner and dog are a great match.

The dogs that come through to me are vet checked, desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and parasite treated to be ready to start their new life.
I have 2 German Shepherds myself who play a big part with new dogs adjusting into a new routine and becoming social.

I am realistic about the fact that I can’t help all the dogs in the pounds unfortunately, but for those I can help it has changed their whole world 💕

This is Honey (because she is so sweet) in the picture. She was 1 of 3 who came to me 3 weeks ago from Lightning Ridge NSW. Honey was surrendered to the pound at 12 years old with a grade 1-2 heart murmur we discovered at her vet check. Since Honey was surrendered her time in the pound was even less than a stray, she was at risk of being euthanised.
Honey’s new life starts tomorrow as she is going to a home to start her trial period in hopes to be adopted.

Although PEMF Therapy is a ‘newer’ technology that is becoming more & more known, used & trusted around the area & in the Equine Industry, this modality has been used by professionals for over 40 years!
PEMF stands for “Pulsed Electro-Magnetic Field Therapy. It is a drug free, non invasive wellness modality with a variety of benefits! PEMF Therapy targets depleted blood cells in the body and provides them with the energy they need to better their many jobs!

We have been lucky enough to work on hundreds & hundreds of horses, we have seen incredible results & been apart of some significant transformations! 🙏🏼
Just to name a few;
- Success with bursting abscesses! Who would’ve thought! My personal horse hobbled out of the paddock extremely lame, with a swollen near hind leg - after completing a full body session + spending 20 minutes working our way down her leg & the abscess burst & it just started oozing out 😵
- Laminitis!!! Pulsing your laminitic horse/pony feels like a secret that everyone needs to know!!! We’ve seen horses suffering from laminitis & extreme discomfort; shifting weight, barely being able to move.. to galloping around the paddock for days after a session. Not to mention significantly reduced heat in the hooves, easily felt & noticed by touch.
- If your horses muscles are sore, tight, tense, obviously flinching, dipping or spasming on palpation; after we have completed the session - all of those reactions are either completely gone or significantly reduced!
- We’ve seen the horses whole demeanour completely change & is always noticed majorly by clients straight away. 🫶🏼

We have a different range of clients varying from dressage, show jumpers, high level eventers, racehorses & not to mention my personal favourites - the geriatrics! Retired, older horses - they most definitely still benefit a great deal from PEMF Therapy 🥰

I’ve been trying to tell you that I am in pain, but you don’t seem to listen.

I show you that I’m in pain by not being willing to work but you just call me 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐛𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 or 𝐥𝐚𝐳𝐲. Instead of helping me, you just 𝐤𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫.

I show you that I’m in pain by rearing when you try to ride me, but you enjoy showing people you can sit to a rear. Instead of getting off and listening, you just say “𝐇𝐞’𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬, 𝐚𝐭 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐢𝐭’𝐬 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐦𝐞 𝐚 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐭!”

I show you that I’m in pain by throwing my head in the air, but you just say it’s one of 𝐦𝐲 𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬. Instead of helping me, you just buy 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐠𝐚𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐬 so that I can no longer 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐰 𝐦𝐲 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐢𝐫.

I show you that I’m in pain by bolting, but you just get scared and decide I’m not the one for you. You sell me and I still remain as 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐈𝐬 𝐇𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠.

It’s our responsibility as animal owners to do right by them, horses can’t speak, they communicate through their actions. So we need to listen!

9/10 times “negative behaviour” is caused my pain, the rest is learnt behaviour. Either way I always check for pain first.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐈𝐬 𝐇𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠, deserves the world. The amount of tolerance, loyalty, patience and trust the hurting horse has, is something I can only dream of having.

It is so rewarding to see how far Pumpkin has come in his regular 4-6weekly sessions 😍 A massive shoutout to his lovely owner Coco ~ we are forever grateful for Coco’s never ending support & we are so proud of how far her & Pumpkin have come 🥹🤍

• A common question we get asked is ‘How often should my horse have PEMF Therapy?’
The answer I always tell everyone is.. it’s never too often! One of the incredible things about this modality is that you could pulse everyday & it will only benefit your horse! 🙌🏼
All horses are different & we like to let the owner/riders choose the frequency of sessions depending on what they think/feel is best for their horse!

For example; we see our race horses weekly, eventers/pony clubbers etc every 4-6weeks & a whole heap of monthly clients!
We have found that to begin with it is always very beneficial to do more sessions in a shorter time frame; eg 4 x sessions in 4 weeks to begin with & then graduating to monthly 🥳

Update on my gorgeous girl Miss Elle 😇

This horse is truly incredible! Feeling like the luckiest girl in the world to have such a patient, gentle & brave horse! 🥹
Her eye removal surgery was a big success on Tuesday last week, bandage is off & stitches will come out once it hits 2 weeks! 🙌🏼

Elle has actually already been blind in her left eye for many years now, due to a cataract growing over her lens causing her blindness! As the cataract grew & matured changes started to occur (a small blood clot in her eye appeared & within a week it was haemorrhaging and full of blood) 🤯

I cannot thank nor recommend Dr Andrew Turner from All Animal Eye Services enough - he was booked out months in advance but made the time to come out & assess her within DAYS of initial contact & I am forever grateful for the incredible service he provides 🤍
Dr Andrew recommended The Equine Practice perform the surgery & as usual Dr Arnie came to the rescue & smashed it out of the park! 🙌🏼
No matter how stressed I was or how many questions I have he is always there to answer them (even on his days off 😅) & I am feeling very blessed 🙏🏼

Lastly, I'm so grateful to have Riley by my side through yet another ordeal with this horse 🤣 & all of our beautiful clients for their patience with us over these past few tricky weeks. ❤️‍🩹
And my beautiful Elle - thanks for being quite literally the best patient ever! We love you so dam much 🥹❤️‍🩹✨🙏🏼

Ofcourse in the midst of one of our biggest weeks ever, somehow smashing out nearly 60 horses in about a weeks worth of work + working our other jobs & the rest of craziness that comes with our own 4 horses & running this biz... 😅
My gorgeous girl Miss Elle decided to specifically 'request' a visit from the Equine Eye Specialist & unfortunately have her eye removed 😭

My little schmell (Elle) is booked in first thing tomorrow morning for surgery. My fingers & toes are crossed for a no fuss, pain free & speedy recovery & I have full faith in my vets that everything is going to go perfectly tomorrow!! 🙏🏼

As always we appreciate your patience with bookings & replies, but this week has just been one of those weeks & it's just not over yet 🙈 We love you you guys!!! Promise I will update you all when I get a chance 🤍

But for now, if we don't laugh we'll cry! 😅

A little 2023 update for all of our wonderful clients 🥰

Here are a few friendly reminders in regard to your appointment! 👇🏼
- Full body PEMF Therapy sessions go for roughly 1 x hour give or take per horse.
- We require access to power but we DO have a generator that we can bring for a small fee. (An undercover area is also great to have access too dependant on Melbourne’s lovely unpredictable weather!)
- Please ensure you have your horse caught, unrugged, ready (preferably dry) & tied up by the time of booking.
- Please also ensure to do your best to have your horse ready & arrive on time; we are always booked back to back & your session may get cut short if you are not on time to your scheduled booking.
- One thing to keep in mind is that posting & uploading stories is a big part of our business; meaning if you do see us posting on socials but your enquiry hasn’t been responded to, I promise you we are not ignoring you & we will get back to you as soon as we can!
- Lastly, please please please be patient with replies & booking confirmation. 9/10 times we are waiting to hear back from another client to be able to confirm your booking time & date - we will do our very best to get back to you all as quickly as we can! 🫶🏼
- Keeping the above in mind
If we do not hear back from you within 24hrs; your requested booking time/date will not be held (especially because we have clients waiting for a response back from us).

⚡️Please note going forward that there is a $50 cancellation fee per horse if notified with less than 48hrs to your appointment. If you fail to notify us prior to your booking & cancel on the day of your booking, the FULL booking fee of $100 per horse will be charged.
We will not accept future bookings until the cancellation fee has been paid.
*We accept & require either cash or bank transfer on the day of the booking.*

We very much appreciate everyone’s understanding & we cannot wait for another fantastic year with you all! We do most definitely have a few very exciting things in store for you all for 2023… 🙈
