In this video I explain the LionFish problem on Aruba. I also want to clear up some confusion about LionFish. The only solution to get the LionFish from our reef at this moment is to shoot them with a polespear.
I am really disappointed in our government because customs have confiscated 15 of my polespears. At this moment there is no law that allows to import ' underwater hunting tools' . Even if we use them for protecting our reef!
The polespears are confiscated since september 2023. I have no communication and see no progress in our government system. I hope that this video or post will bring some clearance in the process.
