#এসি_কেনার_আগে


রুম অনুসারে এসির আকার নির্বাচন করুন:

এসি কিনতে গিয়ে প্রথমেই দোকানিরা জিজ্ঞেস করে, কত টনের এসি নিবেন? আসলে এই টন এসির সাইজ বা ওজনকে বোঝায় না। ১ টন এসি মানে হলো ১২০০০বিটিইউ/আওয়ার, ১.৫ টন মানে হলো ১৮০০০ বিটিইউ/আওয়ার, এভাবে বাড়তে থাকে। এক টনের একটি এসি প্রতি ঘণ্টায় রুম থেকে ১২০০০ বিটিইউ তাপ শোষণ করতে পারে। তার মানে যত বেশি টন মানের এসি; তত বেশি কুলিং ক্ষমতা। কত টনের এসি কিনবেন, তা নির্ণয়ের সময় রুমের আকার জানার পাশাপাশি রুমটি কততম ফ্লোরে অবস্থিত, সূর্যের তাপ দেয়ালের কোন পাশে লাগে, রুমে কতজন মানুষ থাকবে, রুমে কোন হিটিং জিনিসপত্র যেমন- ওভেন বা আয়রন ব্যবহার করবেন কিনা, জানালা, দরজা, পর্দা, সিলিং, ফ্লোর- এসবের হিট কন্ডাকটিভিটি কেমন এসব বিষয় বিবেচনা করতে হবে। সাধারণত আপনার রুম যদি১০০-১২০ স্কয়ার ফুট হয়, সেক্ষেত্রে ১ টন এসি যথেষ্ট। ১২০-১৫০ স্কয়ার ফুট ঘরের জন্য প্রয়োজন ১.৫ টন এসি,১৫০-২০০ স্কয়ার ফুট বা তার বেশি আয়তনের ঘরের জন্য প্রয়োজন ২ টন ক্ষমতার এসি।

স্প্লিট নাকি উইন্ডো এসি:

রুমে ব্যবহারের জন্য বাজারে সাধারণত উইন্ডো, স্প্লিট আর পোর্টেবল এসি বাজারে পাওয়া যায়। উইন্ডো এসি যেসব রুমে কমপক্ষে দু’টি জানালা আছে সেখানে লাগানো হয়। এ এসি জানালায় লাগানো হয়, ফলে এ এসি লাগালে বন্ধ হয়ে যাবে রুমের একটি জানালা। আর এসি বন্ধ থাকলে ঘরে আলো-বাতাস ঢোকার সম্ভাবনা কমে যাবে। কিন্তু এ ধরনের এসি সহজেই ইনস্টল করা যায়। যারা ঘন ঘন বাসা পাল্টান, তাদের জন্য এই এসিই ভালো।অন্যদিকে স্প্লিট এসি খানিকটা স্লিম হয় উইন্ডো এসির থেকে। স্প্লিট এসির ইভোপরটি রুমের ভেতরে থাকে আর কনডেনসার, কম্প্রেসার অংশ থাকে ঘরের বাইরে। ফলে শব্দ শোনা যায় না রুমের ভেতর থেকে। ঘরের দেয়ালে যে কোন জায়গায় ঝুলিয়ে দেওয়া যাবে এ এসি। দামের দিক থেকে উইন্ডো এসির দাম স্প্লিট এসির থেকে বেশ খানিকটা কম। স্প্লিট এসির দক্ষতা বেশি উইন্ডো এসির চেয়ে। পোর্টেবল এসি সহজেই এক জায়গা থেকে অন্যত্র নেওয়া যায়। তবে দক্ষতা ও দাম কম অন্য সব এসির তুলনায়।

বিদ্যুৎ খরচের রেটিং দেখে কিনুন:

এসির গায়ে স্টিকারে বেশ কিছু স্টার রেটিং করা থাকে। ১ থেকে ৫ পর্যন্ত রেটিংই থাকে সাধারণত। ১ স্টার রেটিং মানে এসিটি এক বছরে ব্যবহার করে ৮৪৩ ইউনিট, অন্যদিকে ৫ স্টার মানে হলো এসিটি ব্যবহার করে ৫৫৪ ইউনিট। সোজা হিসাব হলো, যত বেশি স্টার; তত বিদ্যুৎ খরচ কম। এছাড়াও বিদ্যুৎ বিল সাশ্রয় করার জন্য ইনভার্টার এসি ব্যবহার করতে পারেন। এসির টেম্পারেচার সম্ভব হলে ২২ থেকে ২৫ ডিগ্রি সেন্টিগ্রেডের মধ্যে রাখুন। তাহলেও খানিকটা বিল কম আসবে।

কনডেন্সার ও কম্প্রেসার দেখে কিনুন:

পিওর কপারের তৈরি, কম ব্যাসের (৪-৭ মিলিমিটার), টিউবের ভেতর ফিন আছে এমন কনডেন্সার দেখে এসি কিনুন। সাধারণত অ্যালুমিনিয়ামের চেয়ে কপারের তৈরি কনডেন্সার ভালো। মোটা ব্যাসের সাধারণ টিউবের থেকে কম ব্যাসের ফিনযুক্ত কনডেন্সারের দক্ষতা বেশি। বলা হয়ে থাকে, কনডেন্সারের টিউবের সংখ্যা যত বেশি তত ভালো। কম্প্রেসারের গ্যরান্টি দেখে কিনুন, কারণ এটিই বেশি নষ্ট হয়।

এসির রেফ্রিজারেন্ট দেখে নিন:

এসিতে কুলিং এজেন্ট হিসাবে বিভিন্ন ধরনের রেফ্রিজারেন্ট ব্যবহার করা হয়। যেমন- R22, R410a, R134a, R32, R1234ze(E) ইত্যাদি। কিছু রেফ্রিজারেন্ট যেমন- R22, R410a , R134a এগুলোর গ্লোবাল ওয়ার্মিং পটেনশিয়াল অনেক বেশি। তাই এগুলো পরিবেশ ও মানব শরীরের জন্য ক্ষতিকর। অন্যদিকে R32, R1234ze(E) এর গ্লোবাল ওয়ার্মিং পটেনশিয়াল তুলনামূলক কম। তাই যেসব এসিতে পরিবেশ বান্ধব রেফ্রিজারেন্ট ব্যবহার করা হয়, সেটা দেখে কিনুন।

এসির ফ্যান ও চালানোর সময় শব্দ দেখে নিন:

এসির ফ্যান বাতাসকে রুমের চারিদিকে ছড়িয়ে দেয়। কাজেই একাধিক ফ্যান আছে এমন এসি নির্বাচন করুন। এসি কেনার সময় ভালোভাবে খেয়াল করে নিন, এসিতে কোন শব্দ হচ্ছে কি-না।

অগ্নি নিরাপত্তা:

আজকাল এসিগুলো অতিরিক্ত চাপের সংযোগ বিচ্ছিন্নতার মাধ্যমে সুরক্ষামূলক বৈশিষ্ট্য; সর্বোচ্চ স্তরের পি 2 ক্যাপাসিটার ব্যবহার করে এবং আরও সুরক্ষার জন্য বৈদ্যুতিক সার্কিট বাক্সে সুরক্ষামূলক ধাতব আবরণ থাকে। এছাড়াও, এসি লাগানোর সময় অবশ্যই নিশ্চিত করতে হবে যে, এর কর্মক্ষমতা প্রভাবিত করার জন্য যাতে এতে কোনও পরিবর্তন বা সংযোজন করা না হয়। পর্দা এবং দহনযোগ্য স্টেশনারিগুলির মতো জিনিসগুলি যা সহজেই আগুন ধরতে পারে সেগুলি ইউনিটেরিয়াল এয়ার কন্ডিশনারগুলির আশেপাশে রাখা উচিত নয়।

ফিল্টারগুলো পরিষ্কার:

ফিল্টারটি পরিষ্কার রাখলে 5-10 শতাংশ বিদ্যুৎ শক্তি বাঁচানো সম্ভব। আপনার ঘরটিকে অ্যালার্জেন এবং অন্যান্য দূষণকারী উপাদান থেকে মুক্ত রাখতে এসিগুলোতে ফিল্টার বসানো থাকে। এসি এমন স্থানে স্থাপন করুন যাতে আপনি সহজেই ফিল্টারটি পরিষ্কার করতে পারেন।

ওয়ারেন্টি দেখুন:

কিছু এয়ার কন্ডিশনারগুলির দীর্ঘতর ওয়ারেন্টি থাকে। আপনি যখন নতুন ইউনিট কিনছেন, তথ্যের জন্য প্রস্তুতকারকের ওয়েবসাইটটি দেখুন এবং খুচরা বিক্রেতাকে সেই মডেল এবং ব্র্যান্ডের ওয়্যারেন্টি সম্পর্কে জিজ্ঞাসা করুন।

ফার্নিচার লেআউট অনুযায়ী এসি স্থাপন করা:

এসি থেকে পরোক্ষ প্রবাহ গ্রহণ করতে উচিত। এসি থেকে সরাসরি প্রবাহ অস্বস্তি তৈরি করতে পারে। দীর্ঘমেয়াদী সরাসরি প্রবাহ স্বাস্থ্যের সমস্যা যেমন শুষ্ক ত্বক, জয়েন্ট ব্যথা, গলা ব্যথা ইত্যাদির কারণ হতে পারে।তাই এসি স্থাপনে উদাহরণ স্বরূপ শয়নকক্ষের জন্য বিছানার সবচেয়ে দূরের দিকের দেয়ালে এসি রাখুন।

অন্যান্য:

এসিতে এয়ার পিউরিফায়ার আছে কি-না দেখুন। এটা রুমে ধুলাবালিযুক্ত বাতাস ঢুকতে দেবে না। এসির অপারেটিং সিস্টেম কেমন দেখে নিন। অবশ্যই এসি কেনার আগে কোম্পানির সার্ভিস কতটা ভালো সেই বিষয়ে ভালো করে খোঁজ-খবর করে নেবেন। কারণ আফটার সেলস সার্ভিস যে কোন হোম অ্যাপ্লায়েন্সের ক্ষেত্রেই গুরুত্বপূর্ণ।
