The 8th Social Business Youth Summit (SBYS) 2023 was a resounding success! Hosted on February 8-9, 2023, the summit was a hub for meaningful conversations centered around the theme of "Creating a World of Three Zeros: The Time is Now." Curated by YY Ventures, the summit powered by the Embassy of the Kingdom of Netherlands, with support from Yunus Centre and Impact Hub Dhaka. To celebrate this milestone, a reception was hosted for our graduating entrepreneurs on June 4, 2022, by H.E. Anne Van Leeuwen, Ambassador of the Embassy of the Netherlands in Bangladesh.
The graduates were presented with certificates of achievement at the award ceremony, which was followed by an open networking session for the entrepreneurs to connect with alumni of the program and industry leaders.

The theme for World Youth Skills Day 2021, "Reimagining Youth Skills Post-Pandemic," emphasizes skills that the youth need to acquire currently and in the future. The Global Pandemic has highlighted the importance of resilience in entrepreneurs. Several businesses failed and diminished during the Covid-19 pandemic due to their inability to adapt, whereas others who were resilient; flourished. Training and education over the years help develop resilience in youth, but the closure of education and training institutes has affected the skill development process worldwide. YY Goshthi Incubee Mushfiqur Rahman Saad, Founder of Wizkit, shares his insight on how we can ensure skills development among youth and help them recover from the learning and training losses caused by the pandemic.
