Last year, 20 Jan 2023, something quite remarkable happened in Dhaka.
A ‘show’ - not a concert, was put together at Hatirjheel Amphitheatre with the help and support of 100% local expertise. Together, we delivered the music of Pink Floyd to the Dhaka audience. The show was a first of its kind in Bangladesh.
Subsequently a documentary was commissioned by the sponsors - BHN - to tell the behind the scene story - of what it takes to create a show like that.

At the Hatirjheel show STONE FREE had announced that a portion of the proceeds from the show would be given to charity.
A charitable donation was made to the Bangladesh Wheelchair Cricket Welfare Association, headed by Mohammad Mohasin.
The team had recently played in India where they lost to their Indian counterparts. Mohasin said “they had sports wheelchairs, and so they were quicker. We have ordinary wheelchairs.”
The donation made by Stone Free will enable them to purchase sports wheelchair.

Many thanks to Mr. Farhan Quddus (who played the Teacher at the Hatirjheel show) for organising the cheque handover to the association.

Stone Free 'comfortably numbs' Dhaka's Pink Floyd fans Stone Free brings yet another tribute show to Pink Floyd at Dhaka. This time they performed at Hatirjheel Amphitheatre, and were joined on stage by Elita, Tashfee, PowerSurge's vocalist Jamshed, Cryptic Fate's Shakib Chowdhury and some legendary musicians of Bangladesh's band music scene.

Our dream of putting up a tribute to Pink Floyd at Hatirjheel Amphitheatre came true on Friday the 20th of January 2023 - thanks to Buy Here Now. Thank you for believing that we could put up a show like never before in Bangladesh. And from all the comments, response, and love received from those who were in the audience - you made us feel like history was made at the Amphitheatre. Thank you!
