showed so many tiny bikini’s. That’s pretty but not realistic for a lot of v***a owners.

So I compared a black thong that I recently bought to a me made one (the bright orange thong that is actually a thong bodysuit). Same size (size 40/ large/ us 12) but the store bought thong is 1cm/ 3/8” smaller. Most women need wider gussets to hold everything in. There is a lot of variety in v***a’s and most of them aren’t just a small crack between a woman’s legs.

You could use Cygne as it is, this versatile pattern comes in 7 variations (5 fronts & 2 backs) and is the must-have swimsuit pattern for any beach look. Cygne can be glamorous, basic or anything else you like.

Hari Ito Lingerie patterns use the BCD (Bottom Cup Depth) measurement to determine your cup size. I deliberately chose a different sizing system than the one used in confection to prevent vanity sizing, because believe it or not, but it's still a thing 🤦🏻‍♀️

But how does the BCD system work?
1. Wear your best fitting bra to take the BCD.
2. Measure from the inframammary crease up to the centre of the ni**le (blue line) or where your breast is fullest, on both breasts (BCD). If you have 2 different measurements, average them out.
3. Measure directly under the breasts, holding the tape measure horizontally to the floor for your band size (green dotted line).
4. Find the bandsize by looking in the right column.
5. Find the right size by combining your bandsize and the BCD in the left column

Maybe you could tell from my designs, but I'm a big fan of modern architecture and the mountains. Not the current fashion trends but architecture and interior are my main sources of inspiration 💭

When I design I usually start from my own experience: what do I personally find lacking in the offerings from the major players in the industry? Hari Ito fills in those gaps.

My favorite materials are mesh, foldover elastic and lace. Hence, the laces of the month I carefully select every month based on the pattern or motif, which are often geometric and modern minimal.

Though I've never been to Japan, I've always been intrigued by the tranquility and thoughtfulness of the country. However this doesn't mean I feel the need to visit. I might go there one day but it isn't a must for me. The not knowing makes it possible to keep the idea I have of the ever-present serenity of the country alive. Somethimes it's okay for dreams to stay just that 💭

Gorgeous! That’s what this fabric is. A beautiful leopard print flocked stretch mesh.
It’s absolutely lovely and so soft, so versatile too. So Far, I’ve made a bodysuit but I’m planning panties, a Moineau Bralette and a pair of leggings.
