Ons laatste weekje fulltime samen is voorbij gevlogen. Morgen gaat deze grote jongen -voor het eerst- vriendjes maken. ❤️ En niet onbelangrijk, deze mama gaat zich na een half jaar nog eens langer dan 5min kunnen douchen, gaan lopen, full focus werken.. Wat begon met drie maanden thuis blijven met de baby, zijn er uiteindelijk zes geworden, door (of dankzij) Corona. Ik kan niet zeggen dat het makkelijk was, want ik ben enkele grijze haren, rimpels en kilo’s rijker, mails zijn blijven liggen en mijn organisatieskills hebben nog nooit zo scherp moeten staan met zenuwinzinkingen tot gevolg 😅. Drie maanden fulltime mama én werken. Het was vermoeiend, maar zalig. Ik ben doodop, maar tegelijkertijd zo dankbaar. Deze tijd samen nemen ze ons nooit meer af lief ventje ❤️ Zes maanden tot over mijn oren verliefd.. 🥰

Walking into a second lockdown like ... 👋🏼 Keep it safe pretty please 🙏🏼

Ik heb hem afgelopen weken wat moeten missen thuis.
Casting director, heel wat dagen op set, producer, mijn persoonlijke secretaresse 😂.. én daarnaast nog eens brand new daddy. Zijn agenda zat al zot gevuld. Maar om dan nu te kunnen aanschouwen wat wéér uit de grond heeft gestampt maakt mij opnieuw zo trots.
Een digital festival - dat twee keer georganiseerd werd en afgelast door Corona - maar er na een derde keer organiseren wel écht staat. Ik zag een (coronaproof) digital festival met workshops gevuld met young passionate creatives, waar meningen en vragen welkom waren en diversiteit besproken werd, een festival waar je kan leren van de besten in hun vak en waar jong (en ouder) sowieso met kennis en nieuwe motivatie naar huis zijn gegaan.
Zo veel bewondering hoe hij vol passie blijft gaan voor alles en iedereen. Ik zag de liefde en erkenning die hij ontving van iedereen die aanwezig was; ik heb hem (niet zo stiekem) gemist, maar waw, het was het allemaal waard. Ik ben trots. Zó zo zo trots. ❤️
(En ja, nu heb ik alvast een weekendje rust met ons drietjes vast gezet in zijn agenda in November, yes 🥰)

Quarantaine life hack by 🌈🌈 We reorganized our terrace thanks to ‘s campaign “together at home”. It’s all about improving your life at home without leaving it”. The main idea is to gather all your IKEA stuff and redecorate your home for extra comfort, or as a workspace for as long this quarantaine life is keeping us inside. (They share more tips & tricks on the IKEA website! Go have a look). I was inspired and it turned out great 🌞🌴 Extra cozy terrace/hang out spot: Check. Up next: co-working space in my studio, since is my partner in crime from now on 😂🙌🏼 Berchem (Antwerpen) Dena Huys Mathias Sourbron

Looking on the bright side of this lockdown: We were finally able to finish our bedroom!! 🥰Right on time, since we all need that safe haven where we can find some peace of mind right now. This place is mine ☁️☁️ I think this miiiight be my favorite room of the house so far. Probably gonna add a few more details later - when we’re able to go shopping again 👋🏼

We were talking on FaceTime to discuss this announcement shoot, when I asked her if she was alone in the room. She said “no, but that’s ok, everybody in the room knows already”. I replied: “ yeah.. But they don’t know about me... ” with this giant smirk on my face 🤭 and she started crying. That’s what a beautiful soul she is. Grateful we can share this moment together ❤️ Dena Huys
