I had always been an adventurous soul, so when I decided to embark on a solo backpacking trip through Western sahara, I knew I was in for an emotional rollercoaster. As I journeyed through bustling cities, and Dakhla beaches I found that every experience seemed to intensify my emotions.
In Essaouira, the chaotic streets overwhelmed my senses, amplifying my excitement and anxiety in equal measure. The vibrant markets, spicy street food, and colorful temples stirred a whirlwind of emotions within me, from awe to bewilderment.
On a tranquil island in Dakhla, named Dragon island, I discovered a sense of peace I had never known before. The pristine beaches and clean waters filled me with a profound serenity, while moments of solitude allowed me to reflect deeply on my life and aspirations.
I remember my felling in the old city of vobulis, visiting the ancient temples stirred a profound sense of wonder and reverence within me. Standing amidst the towering ruins, I felt a connection to the past and a profound appreciation for the beauty of human history.
Yet, traveling also exposed me to moments of vulnerability and loneliness. Struggling with language barriers and cultural differences, I often found myself feeling isolated and homesick, longing for the familiarity of home.
But amidst the challenges, I discovered unexpected moments of kindness and connection. From sharing meals with strangers to bonding with fellow travelers over shared experiences, I realized the universal language of compassion and friendship.
As my journey came to an end, I returned home with a heart full of memories and a newfound appreciation for the complexity of human emotions. Through the highs and lows of my travels, I had learned that the beauty of life lies in its unpredictability, and that it is through embracing our emotions, both joyful and challenging, that we truly experience the richness of existence.

In this story, my journey through the Nord of morocco to the south serves as a metaphor for how traveling can magnify and intensify the spectrum of human emotions, from excitement and wonder to vulnerability and loneliness. 🇲🇦

Embarking on a mountain retreat, strangers became family, bonding over shared challenges and the awe-inspiring beauty of nature. As we ascended, laughter and stories echoed against rocky cliffs, forging unbreakable connections. Under the stars, in the refuhe songs and silence spoke volumes, weaving unforgettable memories. In the mountains’ embrace, amidst serenity and camaraderie, we found solace and a community that felt like home. As everyone saw on my profile that I’m addict to the beaches and to catching the sunset and sunrise.
But after my trip to TOUBKAL with .club everything is changing in my relation with mountains. I wasn’t in love with its but now 😂
I just want to live in a world of mountains, coffee, campfires, cabins and golden trees, and run around with a camera and notebook, learning the inner workings of everything real.
That doesn’t mean that I don’t care about beaches anymore but like I begin believing that every moment got its own charming vibe ✨

After the first day spent trekking, you will stay at the refuge where you will spend the night, and enjoy Berber hospitality. After an early breakfast the next day, set off and reach the summit as the sun rises, rewarding you with amazing views. The views from the summit are amazing across the mountains to Marrakech to the north, and the start of the Sahara to the south. During the ascent you will be rewarded with stunning views of the Atlas Mountains, green valleys, and Berber Villages.

Challenge yourself to climb the highest peak in North Africa in 2 days with .club, &
The tour starts and finishes in the vibrant city of Marrakech, and includes transport to and from Imlil. You will trek with a local English-speaking guide, a local cook, and mules to carry your luggage.

This is a challenging walk rather than a climb, and anybody in good physical condition can reach the top. the views from the summit are spectacular. Mount Toubkal 4167m is the highest peak in North Africa, and is a trekking peak involving no climbing but may involve walking in crampons or holding an ice axe for security (November to April). The itinerary has been designed for keen walkers, as the ascent is non-technical, but does involve some easy scrambling and snow slopes.
